It’s Sunday, so you know what that means! It’s time to take a look at the interleague matchups for the upcoming week and determine how it will affect our fantasy lineups. Which players are gaining or losing fantasy value this week? You’ll find that and more here at Fantasy Alarm!

With the All-Star festivities, and break, taking up the majority of the week, we only have one interleague series after the break. With the Rays heading to Atlanta, they will be without the designated hitter, so what does that mean for its lineup? Let’s take a look at what fantasy players gain/lose fantasy value for this week!

Rays @ Braves (7/16-7/18)

Tampa exploits the matchups, so it will largely depend on what three pitchers Atlanta sends out there. Austin Meadows has primarily been the team’s DH of late, but they will want his bat in there against righties, which likely pushes Randy Arozarena from left field to right, taking at-bats away from Manuel Margot. It seems like Margot could lose out on some at-bats, unless Atlanta sends out multiple left-handers, then, it’s likely Meadows that rides pine. Vidal Brujan is also a chess piece that can be moved around.
