With only two games tonight, below is a quick breakdown with example lineups.  All lineups are gpp based.  Good luck!

Golden State -7 @ Boston

This game may preview this year’s NBA Finals.  Boston checks in as home underdogs riding a 13 game winning streak.  While Boston has won by an average margin of 8.1 points, Golden State is riding a seven game winning streak, winning by an average of 19.8 points.

Houston -12.5 @ Phoenix

This game has both the largest spread, and highest projected total at 228.5.  Chris Paul is likely to come back for the Rockets tonight, but may be on a minutes restriction.  Harden has been on fire without him, as he is currently second in the league at 30.7 ppg, and leads the league with 64 three's, and 10.3 assists per game.  With Houston being 7-1 on the road this year, the Suns have a tough challenge.  Tyson Chandler is out tonight, but Greg Monroe will make his debut for the Suns tonight.

Fantasy Breakdown:

Guard:  James Harden leads the slate tonight, as he is priced higher than the second player by $2K on FD, and $3K on DK.   Both Harden and Devin Booker are my top two guards tonight.  I have no problem taking both of them at SG on FD, and using them in different spots on DK. If you are taking Harden, you will need to save some salary elsewhere.  At the guard position, Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, Tyler Ulis, and Mike James stand out as the top punts. Livingston won’t have the run he had last game with Curry back, but he still played his typical 14-20  minutes a game, while averaging roughly a point per minute.  Iguodala will see more time on the court, and can be used as a SG on DK. Ulis has done nothing with his starting role yet, but still prefer him over Mike James.  James does have the advantage of dealing with the Houston second unit, and both should see garbage time.  Irving, Klay, and some of the other guards are in play, but not on my radar.

Forward:  If you go with Harden, Booker, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green on FD, you’ll be left with an average of roughly $4,250 for the other five spots.  I believe that Durant and Green are your best bets, and like 65% plus owned in FD gpp’s.  T.J. Warren is your other top SF option that you could consider pairing with Durant, or using in place of him. PF wise, I do prefer Morris over Tatum as your mid-priced option.  I do like T.J over Green for the salary relief on DK.  Value wise, Dragon Bender, and Daniel Theiss would be my top choices.  Omri Casspi makes for a low owned pivot option off of Iguodala.

Center:  I suggest using a PF/C option on DK from the ones listed above.  Outside of them, it comes down to pretty much Al Horford, Clint Capela, Alex Len, or Greg Monroe.  We still don’t know if Monroe will be on any minutes restriction, but sure plenty will jump on him with no Chandler tonight.  Between Horford and Capela, I’ll lean towards the closer game with Horford.  Aron Baynes may see some extended action tonight, and could be a sneaky pivot option.
