Hitters

Play of the Day: Nolan Arenado-- Nolan is always an elite play at home vs a lefty, and faces Matz tonight, who allowed seven runs while not making it through two innings the last time he faced the Rockies.  Matz is 0-4 with a 14.18 ERA and a .479 avg vs him over his last four starts.  Nolan took Matz deep last time, and expecting a similar result tonight.

Top Play: Cody Bellinger--Bellinger faces Sims tonight, who is making his major league debut tonight.  Both Bellinger and Judge make for top OF options priced out of the top ten tonight.  Bellinger has struggled lately, and looking for his first long ball in over a week, while four of Judge’s last six hits have went for home runs.

Value Play: Nomar Mazara-- Mazara has a great discounted price on Y! Tonight compared to other sites, as he went deep last night for the first time since July 7th.  He faces Ramirez tonight, who has allowed four runs in 4 ? innings vs Texas this year with Tampa.  Mazara is 2-2 lifetime vs him.

Value Play: Matt Holliday--   Holliday makes for a nice value option at only $8 tonight on a Yankees team with one of the higher projected run totals of the slate.  Holliday is 8-17 with two homers lifetime off of Sanchez, as he looks to break out of 2-16 slump.

Pitchers

Play of the Day: Max Scherzer --Scherzer faces the Marlins tonight after Gio held them hitless until the ninth inning last night.  Scherzer leads the N.L. with 201 strikeouts, as well as a .170 avg against him. He is 4-2 with a 2.11 ERA in six starts at Miami, as has at least nine K’s in 11 of his last 12 starts.

Pivot Play: Chris Archer--Archer is the current underdog tonight vs Fiers and Houston, but has 21 K’s over his last two starts (13 innings).  Archer is 4-2 with a 1.68 ERA in seven starts vs Houston, including two shutouts, and like him more than another underdog priced the same with C-Mart.

Value Play: Aaron Nola--  Nola has pitched seven straight quality starts, going 5-1 in that span.  Nola pitched 48 ? innings over those seven start with a 1.48 ERA, producing between seven to ten strikeouts in each game.

GPP Play: Chris Sale-  Sale’s price at $73 tonight is the highest it has been all season at over $70 for the first time, making it almost too much for cash games.  He leads the majors with 211 K’s in just 148 ? innings this season, but has struggled vs Cleveland, going just 5-7 with a 4.07 ERA in 27 appearances vs them.  On a stacked pitching night, you don’t need to pay up for Sale if looking elsewhere.
