Stacks for Sunday, June 25

The main slate today features the nine early games.  FanDuel has not pitcher priced $9,000 or higher.and DraftKings only has Pineda priced over $9,300.  This opens up the slate to allow for the stacking of some power teams today.   It definitely feels more of a GPP slate over cash games today.  Good luck!

Orioles @ Rays

Baltimore avoided history last night with their 8-3 win.  They tied Philly from 1924 as giving up at least five runs in 20 straight games Friday, but Tampa only managed three runs off Bundy.

Tampa has gone deep at least twice now in six straight games after both Longo and Dickerson went deep last night.  The face Chris Tillman today, who won his first start back on May 7, but has not won since. Tillman has an ERA of 8.39  this season (Rank: 168th of 168 qualified SPs in MLB; League Avg: 4.50),   He’s allowed 14 earned runs in 6 ? innings over his last two road starts, and averaging negative points over his past five starts.  Longoria, Morrison, and Souza all have wOBA’s over over .400 vs Tillman, with Longoria leading the way with a .475 wOBA with 8 HR’s off Tillman.

Jake Odorizzi has a respectable 4-3 record with a 3.78 era this year.  While that part is solid, Jake is hoping to avoid tying a team record today, as he has allowed at least one HR in each of his last 10 starts.   Both Machado and Jones have face him over 30 times each.  Machado is 9-32 with 4 HR’s and only two strikeouts, while Jones is hitting .382 with two long balls off of Jake.  The Yanks and Red Sox will  be extremely popular, and if looking to be different without taking the largest risks of the slate, this is my favorite game that fits this strategy.

Top Stack Suggestions:

Baltimore:  Manny Machado, Adam Jones, Trey Mancini, Jonathan Schoop, Welington Castillo (If using Longoria).

Tampa Bay:  Evan Longoria, Mallex Smith, Logan Morrison, Corey Dickerson, Taylor Featherston (If using Machado).

Reds @ Nationals

The Nationals were in this spot yesterday, and put up 18 runs.  They didn’t use up the Reds bullpen yesterday though, but not sure it matters when they match up vs Scott Feldman today.

He has a 4.20 era on the season, and has allowed at least  four earned runs in three of last four road starts.  He hasn’t faced Nationals as a starter for a few years now, but potential Sunday starter’s in Drew and Lind have multiple homers off Feldman. Update:  Lind is in the starting lineup, but Drew is not.

Tanner Roark is coming off his shortest start of the season, being pulled before completing the third inning vs Miami.  The six earned runs in that start plus the seven vs the Braves gives him 13 earned runs over his past two starts (7 ? innings).  Current Reds are batting only .254 vs Roark, without giving up a longball to them, but haven’t faced them this season yet.  Reds have at least one homer in six straight games, and lead the majors with grounding into just 43 double plays in 526 opportunities (8.2%)  this season (Rank: 1st of 30 in MLB).

Top Stack Suggestions:

Washington:  Daniel Murphy, Brian Goodwin, Adam Lind, Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon

Cincinnati:    Adam Duvall, Scooter Gennett, Joey Votto, Devin Mesoraco, Scott Schebler.
