Oh baby! Let’s get our stacks on today, shall we?

Game Stack:

Baltimore Orioles at Texas Rangers

More scalding hot temperatures at Globe Life Park, a 10.5 implied runs total and these two teams have combined for 39 runs in two games? Yes please. Lefty Mike Minor facing a heavy right-handed Orioles team that torched him for five runs in 2.2 innings right after the All-Star break? Yum. Granted, the Orioles don’t have Manny Machado or Jonathan Schoop anymore, but this lineup will find a way to get to him. On the other side, it’s Dylan Bundy who has allowed 18 earned runs in his last four starts and has given up eight home runs in that span as well. I’ll favor the lefty bats in the Rangers lineup, but I also won’t shy away from guys like Elvis Andrus and Adrián Béltre .

Other Stacks:

Minnesota Twins vs Burch Smith

The top four in this lineup – Joe Mauer , Eddie Rosario , Jorge Polanco and Logan Morrison – are giving me a DFS boner here. Smith pitches to a ton of contact and both Rosario and LoMo have more than enough power to take him deep in this game.

Cleveland Indians vs Felix Pena

The chalky of chalk stacks, but you knew that anyway. They’ll cost you an arm and a leg and probable some other body part to get them in there, but Francisco Lindor , Michael Brantley and José Ramírez are always a tasty option. You could also go on the cheaper side and use Yonder Alonso , Melky Cabrera and Jason Kipnis if you like to live on the edge.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Jose Urena

There’s a reason Urena’s name sounds so much like “urinal.” The Phillies are going to pee all over him in this game. Give me Rhys Hoskins , Nick Williams , Carlos Santana and Asdrubal Cabrera here. If you want a cool and speedy mini-stack, use Roman Quinn and César Hernández together.

Washington Nationals vs Matt Harvey

Another one for Captain Obvious here as this lineup has been en fuego recently. Give me Juan Soto through Matt Adams in a full stack as that adds in Anthony Rendón and Bryce Harper . Harvey has nothing to play for as every team already said they didn’t want him at the trade deadline. Even with August 31st waiver-deadline coming, he’s going to show them tonight how right they were then and why they should ignore him in the future.
