The early games are stacked with power potential and yes, there is a pun intended here. All three games should be high-scoring and there is likely to be a lot of stacking potential for GPP contests. We can’t say that the Cardinals will put up another 18 runs today, but there are going to be some interesting options all around.

New York Yankees vs Steven Matz

Yes, please! You can pretty much look at any part of this order and get your self a full-stack or a couple of mini-stacks if you like. That Aaron Hicks /Aaron Judge 1-2 punch atop the order is almost a must, but you can certainly throw down the middle of the order as well. If you can afford the top four, you might not need any other bats in your lineup!

Chicago Cubs vs Luke Weaver

The Cubbies were embarrassed yester and are likely looking for revenge here. Weaver has been struggling against left-handed hitting, so that Anthony Rizzo , Ian Happ , Jason Heyward , Ben Zobrist top four looks pretty tasty. If looking to pay down though, that Kyle Schwarber , Victor Caratini , Tommy La Stella stack could work. Of course, La Stella and Caratini may be tired from throwing BP yesterday ß that’s sarcasm in case you didn’t get it.

St. Louis Cardinals vs Tyler Chatwood

Yeah, baby! Game-stack potential here, though I’m much more on the Cardinals lefties than I am their heart-of-the-order right-handed grouping. You could probably save some bucks using that Kolten Wong , Dexter Fowler , Greg García trio as the three will be attacking Chatwood from the left side all day. Well, for as long as Chatwood remains in the game, that is.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Alex Cobb

I love this match-up for the Blue Jays this morning as Cobb is the definition of “hot trash.” I love the top four in the lineup – Curtis Granderson , TeOscar Hernandez , Justin Smoak and Yangervis Solarte the most as they’ll throw down from the left side, save for Hernandez. Either way, in the Rogers Centre, the ball should be flying off the Jays’ bats today.
