Welcome to the DFS MLB Optimal Lineups for Wednesday's early slate!

As I mentioned in the Playbook, the Indians are going to be heavily played today and while I feel I need at least a share or two of the game, I can't go all-in here. Sacrifices need to be made in the name of getting in other solid, yet contrarian, bats into my lineups. Because of the short slate, I am staying focused on GPP tournament lineups and that means I may have to forego the deliciousness of José Ramírez . He's going to be very highly owned anyway, so I'm not devastated having to pivot to Anthony Rendón and my middle of the order Nats stack.

While sticking to GPP tourneys, I am offering a look at a potential cash lineup for DK (five games) filled with some mini-stacks, so that can ceertainly be used in GPP tournaments as well. I offered up some pivots in there as well to get some of those Giants bats in there as an alternative to lighten the committment to the Nats and Mets, two teams who have struggled recently on the offensive front.

UPDATE: No Buster Posey in the lineup today. It's an easy pivot to Tyler Flowers .
