Welcome to the DFS MLB example lineups for Monday, April 16!

If you missed my weather warning in the DFS Playbook, you should probably go back and read it. This is a nightmare time of year and the postponements are brutal so make sure you're keeping a close watch on any game that may have some sort of weather implications.

UPDATE: KC/TOR and STL/CHC have both been postponed

As always, these lineups are meant to be examples for you to use as ideas for your own lineups. Don't just play them as your own. They are constructed using the variety of tools we have here on Fantasy Alarm and there may be some plays with which you disagree. Nothing wrong with that at all. This is about teaching you the process and for helping you see some plays which may not have been on your radar. There is more than one way to build a winning lineup, so be the student and not the person who relies on others for short cuts.

**With word that Josh Harrison is out for six weeks with a fractured hand, Adam Frazier looks like a nice low-cost option to use against German Marquez tonight.

I am a little nervous about the temperatures in Pittsburgh tonight. I may still consider a Frazier/Polanco mini-stack, but my desire to use a bigger stack in GPP tournaments is starting to wane.

Other players I'm looking at due to postponements and players sitting out: Asdrubal Cabrera , Scott Kingery, Carlos Santana , Hunter Renfroe
