Week 14 was one of the rare weeks where most favorites won and covered. Not many teams were eliminated from survivor pools. Five games have lines of double-digits in Week 15 and one is at 9.5-points. Make sure to wait until the last minute before making a pick due to all the COVID-19 issues.
Here are my top survivor picks for the week.
- Buffalo Bills: Make sure that Josh Allen is playing before making the pick. The Bills have lost three of the last four games, but they came against the Colts, Patriots and Buccaneers. The Bills beat up on bad teams and the Panthers fit the bill. The Bills have outscored teams with a losing record, 216-64. The Panthers have lost three consecutive games and eight of their last 10 games and face one of the top defenses in the NFL. The Bills have two easy games left at home against the Falcons and Jets if you have several good options left.
- Arizona Cardinals: Coming off a loss makes the Cardinals more appealing. They are 7-0 on the road and are in contention for the top seed. They won't take this game lightly. Even without DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinals should win and are 12.5-point favorites. This is the best spot for the Cardinals the rest of the way. The Lions could be missing key players again and got their win two weeks ago against the Vikings and have little motivation to win. D'Andre Swift, T.J. Hockenson and Jamaal Williams were out last week and could sit again.
- Miami Dolphins: Division games are always a concern, but the Jets are in bad shape. While running back Michael Carter is expected to return, Corey Davis and Elijah Moore are out and Zach Wilson has looked terrible. Miami is coming off a bye week and won five consecutive games and are in playoff contention. The Dolphins could be short-handed at running back with three on the COVID-19 list, but it shouldn't matter. The Jets are averaging 4.4 yards per play in the last three games. Over the last five games, the Dolphins have allowed nine, 10, 17, 10 and nine points. The 17 points was against the Jets on the road as Miami won, 24-17. Joe Flacco started for the Jets and Moore played.
