QUARTERBACK

Matt Corral (Ole Miss) Opp Tulane ($9.6K DK) ($11.5K FD)

Has thrown for 662 yards and six touchdowns against zero interceptions in just two games so far this season. Ole Miss ranks seventh in the FBS averaging 48.5 points per game, leads the SEC in total offense and Corral is in the midst of a 14-game TD pass streak. Tulane is allowing 30 points a game to go along with 249 yards receiving and a 7.2 passing YPA. He won’t come cheap, but Corral is the top overall play at the position.

Sam Howell (North Carolina) Opp Virginia ($8.6K DK) ($10.5K FD)

Howell and the Tar Heel offense struggled in the season-opening loss to Virginia Tech when the Hokies defense intercepted him a career-high three times. He bounced back by throwing for 352 yards and three touchdowns in a 59-17 rout of Georgia State. Here’s the kicker- he also ran for 104 yards and two scores and now actually leads the Tar Heels in rushing with 139 yards. With UNC’s ground game struggling to find some consistency Howell is showing some dual-threat ability as he is being called on for more run pass option (RPO) plays. At $8.6K on DK and a 37.25 implied Howell comes in as one of the top point per $ plays at quarterback.

Michael Pratt (Tulane) Opp @ North Carolina ($7.0K) ($9.7K FD)

Tulane ranks fourth in the FBS averaging 52 points a game while Pratt has passed for 420 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for two more. After a near huge upset of then #2 Oklahoma in the season opener Pratt only played the first half of the Morgan State game after scoring 52 points in just the first two quarters making his numbers this season even more eye opening. Tonight’s game with Ole Miss could easily turn into a shootout with two of the nations Top 10 offenses and a 76-point money line so look for a game stack opportunity using both Corral/Pratt in some GPPs and even Pratt in cash.

Haaziq Daniels (Air Force) Opp Utah State ($5.9K DK) ($7.9K FD)

Daniels has made significant progress under center for Air Force and the dual threat comes into the game with the third highest team implied total of 31.50 against Utah State. Utah State games have been turning into shootouts with a defense that is allowing 292 passing yards a game for a 7.2 YPA. More of a runner than passer Daniels would have had a much bigger game last week against Navy if his receivers didn’t have the case of the “drops”. He had a huge opening day when he ran for three touchdowns against Lafayette, and we could see the same tonight against the Utah State defense.

Also Consider:

Max Johnson – LSU ($7.8K DK) ($9.8K FD)

Brennan Armstrong- Virginia ($8.4K DK) ($9.8K FD)

Charlie Brewer- Utah ($6.4K DK) ($6.9K FD)

Tanner McKee- Stanford ($6.3K DK) ($8.9K FD)

RUNNING BACKS

Brad Roberts (Air Force) Opp Utah State ($7.1K DK) ($9.8K FD)

Roberts was incredibly efficient last season when he averaged 7.2 yards per carry with 20.3% of his rushing attempts going for at least 10 yards. He hasn’t missed a beat to start this season acting as the teams sledgehammer and rushing 54 times for 208 yards and two scores in the first two games. This game with Utah State has shootout potential with a 54.5 total and if Air Force scores anywhere near their 32-point implied expect Roberts to be in the middle of the scoring.

Lew Nichols (Central Michigan) Opp @ LSU ($5.3K DK) ($7.8K FD)

Against Missouri Nichols had a career game averaging 7.1 yard per carry and finishing the game with 135 yards and a touchdown. LSU is similar to Mizzou where they have not shown the ability to limit damage on the ground. They have allowed 130 yards per game with 210 coming against UCLA. McNeese had to abandon the run in the second half due to being down by three touchdowns so the numbers should even be higher. Central Michigan has a strong offensive line that has consistently opened holes for Nichols and expect another solid game this weekend.

Ty Chandler (North Carolina) Opp Virginia ($5.9K DK) ($7.4K FD)

We like bell cows in DFS, and Chandler sure looks like one after the first two games. He has carried the ball 25 times for 124 yards and a touchdown while the runner with the second most carries is D.J. Jones with only eight. The Tar Heels come in with the second highest team implied on the slate with 37.25 points so expect Chandler to get plenty of opportunities against the Cavaliers.

Greg Bell (San Diego State) Opp Utah ($4.9K DK) ($9.2K FD)

Utah was pushed around by BYU in last week’s 26-17 loss surrendering 219 rushing yards to the Cougars. Now they must face Bell and a run heavy physical Aztec offense. The run is their #1 priority led by Bell who has carried the ball 38 times for 286 yards and two touchdowns after two games. With SDSU starting quarterback Jordon Brookshire doubtful for the game expect Bell to be in for an even bigger workload and at $4.9K DK is one of the top point/$ plays at the position.

FanDuel ONLY

Bijan Robinson (Texas) Opp Rice ($11.2K FD)

Robinson was not himself last week and there was a lot of blame to go around – bad offensive line play, questionable play calling from Steve Sarkisian etc. I wouldn’t expect those issues this week as Texas is a 26-point favorite against a Rice defense that is allowing 194.5 yards per game on the ground. As the highest priced running back on the FD slate Robinson is more of a GPP play this week.

Also Consider:

Tank Bigsby – Auburn ($5.8K DK) ($8.0K FD)

Jerrion Ealy- Ole Miss ($6.8K DK) ($9.0K FD)

Noah Cain- Penn State ($6.3K DK) ($7.3K FD)

Austin Jones- Stanford ($6.1K DK) ($6.8K FD)

Micah Bernard- Utah ($4.7K DK) ($8.7K FD)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Kayshon Boutte (LSU) Opp CMU ($8.8K DK) ($10.5K FD)

Boutte is a stud and has already matched his touchdown total from last season with five in two games. He leads the team with 14 receptions and 179 yards and over his last five games has 41 receptions, 706 yards, 17.2 YPC and nine touchdowns. The price is high for a player in a possible blowout game, but he did put up 20.1 DK points in only a half against McNeese State last weekend. Top cash play at the position but borderline GPP due to the high salary.

Josh Downs (North Carolina) Opp Virginia ($7.4K DK) ($8.4K FD)

With his two favorite targets now gone Sam Howell has now turned to Downs as his new go-to guy. He has a team high 16 catches for 196 yards and two touchdowns and has been used all over the field. A big play threat with a 4.46 40-time Downs has the speed to separate and beat defenses over the top. Big game coming tonight against Virginia.

Dontario Drummond (Ole Miss) Opp Tulane ($5.6K DK) ($9.8K FD)

Graded out by PFF as the best wide receiver in week one when he caught all nine targets for 177 yards and a touchdown Drummond didn’t slow down last week when he finished with a team-best 107 receiving yards on six catches and two touchdowns against Austin Peay. He is now third in all of college football in receiving yards per game (142.0) and tied for fifth in receiving touchdowns. Not too shabby for the guy that replaced Ole Miss legend Elijah Moore in the slot. This game is trending towards a shootout and Drummond will be right in the middle as the leader of the receiving corps especially if using Corral at quarterback.

Will Sheppard (Vanderbilt) Opp Stanford ($3.5K DK) ($5.9K FD)

Sheppard leads the team in targets (23); is tied for most receptions (13) and is second in receiving (126 to 129 of Cam Johnson) and yards per reception (9.7). Vanderbilt is not exactly a DFS juggernaut with an 18.25 team implied total but when the team’s leader in targets and receptions is sitting at a $3.5K DK minimum he makes for a solid value play on the slate.

Also Consider:

Jahan Dotson – Penn State ($7.1K DK) ($9.0K FD)

Jonathan Mingo- Ole Miss ($6.7K DK) ($7.9K FD)

JaCorey Sullivan- Central Michigan ($5.0K DK) ($8.3K FD)

Parker Washington- Penn State ($4.3K DK) ($6.1K FD)

Jaray Jenkins- LSU ($3.5K DK) ($5.9K FD)

Keytaon Thompson- Virginia ($6.5K FD Only)
