Welcome back to the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! We have a medium six-game slate on tap for tonight, so let’s dive into some value plays!

DRAFTKINGS

1.) Nicolas Claxton C (BKN) $3,900

Just when we thought that Blake Griffin may come into the Nets rotation and knock Claxton down a bit, that was the total opposite for Griffin’s debut game as a Net. Claxton actually saw a slight up-tick in minutes. Claxton has now played 23, 23 and 26 minutes over his last three contests, while putting up 26.5, 19, and 26.8 DraftKings fantasy points as a result. His price on the other hand, is also steadily on the rise. This guy has tremendous upside with points, boards, blocks, and steals and we might want to take advantage of his price while it still is relatively cheap.

2.) Talen Horton-Tucker SF (LAL) $5,500

THT saw 28 minutes with LBJ hitting the deck with an ankle injury that will now sideline him indefinitely. Horton-Tucker will be the main beneficiary of James being on the shelf and with the 28 minutes he received as a result in the game against Phoenix, he was able to accrue 31.5 DraftKings fantasy points on 17 points, six boards, three dimes, a steal, and a block. The matchup here against the Pelicans is a nice one, and THT should be a vital part of this Laker rotation now without their leading scorer in James.

3.) Jordan Poole PG/SG (GSW) $5,600

Poole’s price still hasn’t caught up with how good he has been since being recalled up from the G-League nearly a month ago. Not to mention the fact that Steph Curry is still nursing a tailbone injury that has already sidelined him for two straight games and will be the third today. Poole has been amazing to say the least, as he has dropped 34+ DraftKings fantasy points over his last three games while playing 24, 34, and 38 minutes to boot. He is going to continue to be a key player for this Warriors team while Curry continues to be on the shelf, and he gets a decent matchup here against the Sixers at home tonight.

FANDUEL

1.) Bruce Brown SG (BKN) $4,000

The Nets will be without Kyrie Irving tonight as he is set to miss the next three contests for personal reasons, and this should allow some added run for Brown as he has been one of the main guards to see bumps in minutes when Durant or Irving miss time. Brown has played 15, 23, and 23 minutes over his last three games and has recorded 21.3, 21.4 and 17.6 FanDuel fantasy points as a result. He should see a slight up-tick in minutes tonight and could even enter the starting five as a result of Irving being out.

2.) Josh Hart SF (NOP) $4,900

Hart gets a date with his old pals in the Lakers at home tonight, and although that doesn’t exactly constitute him being a play at his price, he has been quite productive lately. Hart has topped 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games while playing 26, 28, 24, and 29 minutes. He has missed double-doubles in his last three games running by a combined three rebounds. The Lakers are hurting with both James and Davis not on the floor, and Hart could easily have success in this game tonight.

3.) Alec Burks SG (NYK) $5,600

Burks was reverted back to a bench role last time out against the Sixers, but still found a way to be very productive (and this game did go into overtime) in 29 minutes of action. Burks poured in 20 actual to go along with six boards, four dimes, a block and three steals in route to 44.2 FanDuel fantasy points. He has played 35 and 33 minutes the two games prior while putting up 27.8 and 38 FanDuel fantasy points to boot, and it seems at this point that Thibs needs to find a way to keep this guy on the floor with his offensive sparks. Either way, Burks was the first reserve off the bench last time out with Bullock getting the start, but Burks finished the game in closing for Knicks in OT as well.
