Player Breakdowns:

MVP/CPT

1.) Giannis Antetokounmpo PF/C (MIL) $17,400 –

No reason to try to get way off-base here at the CPT spot, as we know that Giannis is one of the only players in this game that has a ceiling of 75 fantasy points. As a matter of fact, he has topped 70 fantasy points in four of his last six games, with five going for at least 65+. There will likely be value open up if the Kings listed above are not able to give it a go, so likely a night where you just jam in Giannis here in showdown.

2.) De'Aaron Fox PG (SAC) $13,200 –

I think this is a great spot here for Fox in a pace-up spot in MIL. The Bucks are running with the 6th ranked PACE in the league and this benefits Fox tremendously as he likes to get in transition. Fox has put up 40, 54, 63, and 48 fantasy points in his last four road contests and has played 32 or more minutes in every road game this season, while leading the team in usage rate. Fox is one of the safer bets for this game, as the Kings will heavily rely on him for offense.

3.) Buddy Hield SG/SG (SAC) $11,400 –

If you want to punt a smidge at CPT/MVP with a player who has had a steady floor so far in road games this season, look no further than Buddy Hield . Hield has recorded 35, 36, 32, 36, 51, and 28 fantasy points in his last six road travels. He has played 32+ minutes and put up 33 or more fantasy points in five of his last seven games as well. He is hit-or-miss at times, as we can see some floor games lately with 13 and 16 fantasy point games in his last five, however, he is a top-three or four player on this slate with his upside and shot-attempts per game.

MID-TIER:

1.) Khris Middleton SG/SF (MIL) $9,000 –

Middleton is a staple play at the flex tonight, and don’t mind if you want to play him at CPT/MVP. Middleton is averaging around 33 fantasy points a game this season, and even though he has struggled a little lately, he is still seeing the usage without Jrue Holiday on the floor. The Kings are a bit weakened at the SG/SF spot and are ranked near bottom-five in terms of DVP against the spots. Middleton continues to play 35+ minutes a game, taking 13+ shot-attempts most games, and has 40+ fantasy point upside.

2.) Marvin Bagley PF/C (SAC) $7,000 –

Bagley is fresh off a 35-minute outing last night where he put up a massive line of 26 actual, 11 boards, two assists, and two steals in route to near 50 fantasy points on the night. Bagley has reeled off three straight 30+ fantasy point efforts lately and his minutes have been on the rise. It has been a roller-coaster all season with Bagley and his minutes, but if the Kings will once again be thin on the roster, Bagley may be asked to help carry the load once again here.

3.) Nemanja Bjelica PF/C (SAC) $6,400 (ADDED) -

Bjelica should get more run tonight with both Holmes and Barnes looking to sit once again. Two games ago Nemanja played 35 minutes and put up 43 fantasy points on 25 points, eight boards, three dimes, and two steals. He has some nice upside when he gets extended minutes, as he contributes in all defensive categories, AND he can shoot the three-ball. He is in play tonight.

DART THROWS:

1.) Donte DiVincenzo PG/SG (MIL) $5,600 –

Really like DDV in this spot with how consistent he has been with the new minutes bump since Jrue Holiday hit the shelf with the health and safety protocol. Donte has now played 26+ minutes in his last nine contests, while also putting up 27 or more fantasy points in three of his last four, and 26+ fantasy points in five of his last seven games. He is just one of those roster filler positions you will need for Showdown that can get you 25 or so fantasy points, and this Kings backcourt isn’t anything to write home about on Defense.

2.) Brook Lopez C (MIL) $4,600 –

BroLo is super cheap in this match up against a Kings team that may result in Hassan Whiteside starting again. Whiteside isn’t really built to be chasing an opposing Center all over the perimeter and that’s where I think we see BroLo make his bread here tonight. Lopez continues to play solid minutes and is producing consistently, albeit his six-fantasy point effort four games ago. He has recorded at least 21 or more fantasy points in five of seven games. He is a bit risky, but the spot is pretty dang good for BroLo here and he is just super cheap.

3.) Bryn Forbes SG (MIL) $3,800 –

Forbes has been in the rotation well before the Holiday protocol absences, and has seen 20 or more minutes in six of his last seven games. He has also recorded 16+ fantasy points in four-straight games, and in seven of his last eight games played. He doesn’t provide a ton of upside, but he has produced decently when given the extra minutes and run here with no Holiday. I feel most of the better Kings players are not that great of value, so as we can see here with three MIL players in the dart throws, I feel the cheap value is on MIL.
