Tyler Herro (neck spasms) is considered to be questionable for Friday's game against the Raptors.

Herro has missed Miami's last three games due to neck spasms, but he was able to go through practice on Thursday without any issues. Should he be cleared to play, Goran Dragic would most likely be moved back into his usual sixth-man role. Dragic would still offer solid fantasy value, so no need to dump him if Herro can play.

Christian Wood (right ankle sprain) is "not looking good" to play in the Rockets' upcoming back-to-back against the Pistons and Mavericks, according to coach Stephen Silas.

Wood injured his ankle during the first half of Wednesday's loss to the Suns, but ultimately returned to action and played through a significant amount of pain. It appears unlikely that he will be able to play Friday night, and if that's the case DeMarcus Cousins would make a spot start. While some may be tempted to stream Cousins, he sits well outside of the top-200 in both 8- and 9-cat formats this season.

Michael Porter (COVID-protocols) has rejoined the Nuggets after being forced to go into self-isolation.

Porter Jr. being cleared to rejoin his teammates is great news, but he is considered to be questionable for Friday's game in Phoenix. Given the amount of time that MPJ has missed, he would likely be under a minutes restriction if cleared to play. Will Barton has been starting with Porter Jr. sidelined, and he would likely be headed back to the second unit once MPJ is fully cleared (meaning no minutes restriction).

Jayson Tatum took part in an individual workout in Boston on Thursday, but no decision has been made regarding his status for Friday's game against the 76ers.

While his teammates are in Philadelphia preparing for their second game against the 76ers in three nights, Tatum is still working his way back after being sidelined due to COVID-19. Celtics coach Brad Stevens offered no update beyond noting that Tatum is working out in Boston, so he should still be considered 50/50 at best to play Friday night.

Kemba Walker's minutes restriction has been raised to 25-28 minutes ahead of Friday's game against the 76ers, coach Brad Stevens announced.

Slowly but surely, Walker's minutes threshold is being raised. After playing 20 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Knicks, he played 22 Wednesday night in Philadelphia. For his career Walker is averaging just under 34 minutes per game, and given Boston's preference to take things slow, he won't be hitting that mark anytime soon.

Garrett Temple (ankle soreness) was a full go in Thursday's practice.

Temple had been limited the day prior due to soreness in his ankle, but he was a full go for Thursday's session. So he should be available to play in Friday's game against the Hornets. Depending upon the status of Patrick Williams (hip stiffness), Temple could be in line to make another start.

Patrick Williams (hip stiffness) participated on Thursday's practice.

No decision has been made just yet regarding Williams' availability for Friday's game against the Hornets, so we'll consider him to be questionable for now. Should Williams not be cleared to play, Garrett Temple would likely be in line to make another start. Thaddeus Young and Denzel Valentine would also see a slight uptick in minutes.

Wendell Carter Jr. (thigh bruise) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Hornets.

Carter suffered the injury during Wednesday's practice, and while it doesn't appear that he will be able to play Friday night he will travel with the team. Lauri Markkanen could see a few minutes at the center position, but the player to watch here is Daniel Gafford. His minutes have been inconsistent, with the opposition dictating whether or not his name would be called. But Billy Donovan has praised Gafford for his professionalism, and with the Hornets using more traditional centers in Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo, there should be room for the second-year pivot in the rotation.
