Just when we thought CS:GO DFS was going to be killed off by the return of MLB, alas we are still live and well as we have a nice 4-match slate in the Nine to Five 2 Event with some decent contest offerings! Let’s jump right into the playbook!

MATCH 1

ALTERNATE aTTaX (Ranked 34th in World) vs CR4ZY (Ranked 55th in World)

Our first best of three in the opening Swiss round match comes between ALT aTTaX and CR4ZY, a couple of teams we have seen quite a bit as the top-tier teams are still on break. The current betting odds are listing ALT aTTaX at -270 on the money line to win this match. This large line is likely due to the prior head-to-head history between these two teams, in which ALT aTTaX owns a 6-1 game win/loss record against CR4ZY. Both of these teams come into this one with similar form, as they have both won three of their last five matches. However, ALT aTTaX were on a nice winning streak of three wins, with two coming via the 2-0 sweep, before dropping their most recent match to FATE by the reverse sweep. CR4ZY has dropped two of their last three, so they will be aiming to get back into the winning column for this match. Since we do have seven maps of data, let’s see who performed the best in these three total matches so far for this year. For ALT aTTaX, three guys have stood out in the wins during their recent reign over CR4ZY. Beginning with the top performer in slaxz- barely edges the lead with a +56 K-D diff, 1.65 K-D, and 1.33 Rating. Next, mirbit could offer up a little value in this match, as he has the second-best numbers sitting at +52 K-D diff, 1.55 K-D, and 1.32 Rating. Lastly, Kressy comes in with the third best numbers sitting at +38 K-D diff, 1.38 K-D, and 1.25 Rating. For CR4ZY, only one player sits with a positive stat-line and that is SENSEi sitting at +13 K-D diff, 1.11 K-D, and 1.06 Rating. Just to note some top performers for both teams over the last month, for CR4ZY (59 map sample) SENSEi is at the top with a 1.18 Rating, Sergiz at 1.09, and lastly, DemQQ at 1.04. For ALT aTTaX (58 map sample) slaxz- tops the team at 1.19 Rating, kressy next at 1.15, stfN sits at 1.13, and lastly, mirbit at 1.12. Let’s see if we can project some maps for this match.

It is pretty apparent that these two teams are pretty set on their typical map choices, as in three prior matches between the two, both Vertigo and Mirage were chosen all three times. CR4ZY is picking Mirage, while ALT aTTaX is going with Vertigo. I literally see no reason that these two maps will not be the ones chosen for this match. Let’s see who has performed the best on these two maps lately. For ALT aTTaX on their projected map choice of Vertigo (16 map sample) interestingly enough, most of ALT aTTaX has crushed on this map lately, but mirbit has been the top guy sitting with a 1.29 Rating, 0.76 KPR, 0.54 DPR, 1.13 IMP, and 85.8 ADR. Three others closely follow him here, starting with stfN at 1.27, kressy at 1.25, and lastly, staxz- at 1.24. Quite the hefty numbers on this map for them. For Mirage (10 map sample) kressy tops the team here with a 1.10 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 0.69 DPR, 1.16 IMP, and 84.9 ADR. He is followed by slaxz- at 1.09, and ScrunK at 1.04 to round out the list. Now, let’s see who has performed the best for CR4ZY on their projected map choice of Mirage (17 map sample) SENSEi at the top with a 1.24 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 0.55 DPR, 1.18 IMP, and 78.5 ADR. Two others follow him here with Sergiz at 1.10, and DemQQ at 1.03. For Vertigo (12 map sample) Sergiz is the lead guy here lately, sitting at 1.19 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 0.64 DPR, 1.32 IMP, and 84.1 ADR. Only one other player has been well above average here as well, and that is SENSEi with a 1.18 rating. I think it is pretty clear who is the better team here, and it shows in the prior head-to-head data. ALTERNATE aTTaX  has owned this team, as CR4ZY has only averaged rougly 8.1 round-wins in their six map losses to ALT aTTaX. I think we could easily see this turn into a 2-0 sweep for them as well, and they will likely have the ownership. Let’s talk options.

ALTERNATE ATTAX:

ANCHOR: slaxz- (Tops the team in head-to-head data, also great numbers for projected maps)

Top Stacking Options: slaxz-, kressy, mirbit

CR4ZY:

ANCHOR: SENSEi – (Sadly, this guy is really good, but his team is not that great, will make for a great one-off play)

Top Stacking Options: SENSEi, Sergiz, DemQQ

MATCH 2

Selectah (Unranked in World) vs Excellency (Ranked 130th in World)

In our second best of three in the opening Swiss round, we have a match between an unranked Selectah and Excellency. As one may could have already presumed, Excellency is the favorite to win this match, and they are currently sitting at -265 on the money line to win it. Obviously, going to have to just wing it with Selectah, as they have no prior match history over the last three months, and they have only played two total maps over the last six months. So, obviously that means no head-to-head history to analyze, and the map choices will not be much help here either. So, what we can do is analyze Excellency’s prior data, and then we can analyze the 32-map sample for selectah over the last calendar year. Excellency were winners in their last two of three matches, while coming out the victors in their most recent match by a 2-1 result against Lilmix. With that said, let’s see who has performed the best for Excellency over the last month. In a 15-map sample for that month span, Dav has been the top performer sitting at 1.03 Rating, 0.64 KPR, 0.67 DPR, 1.00 IMP, and 67.4 ADR. Two others have notched out Ratings above a 1.0 in HOLMES sitting at 1.01, while rilax sits right at the threshold at 1.00. Now, let’s take a look at the only data we have for selectah, being that 32-map sample over the last year. So, after running through each individual player, it is apparent that this is quite a newly constructed team, only two players have played over 30 maps for the year, while one has only played 12 (jL), one has played just four (tappa), and Raven has played none. The top numbers for this squad sits with tappa, however, it’s a small sample. He sits with a 1.24 Rating, 0.88 KPR, 0.74 DPR, 1.09 IMP, and 94.7 ADR. Next, its jL in his 12-map sample sitting with 1.16 Rating, 0.80 KPR, 0.70 DPR, 1.16 IMP, and 85.1 ADR. Honestly, this is a toss-up for selectah, and to be quite honest, Excellency likely shouldn’t be almost a -270 favorite over anyone at the moment, so I do think if you play some gpps you can mix in some Selectah to be different, as we know in CS:GO that anyone can win on any day. Let’s talk options.

SELECTAH:

ANCHOR: jL – (Going with the larger sample, seems to be a top player for them look at the numbers)

Top Stacking Options: jL, tappa, Raven (taking a small shot on Raven, even though he has no data to go off of)

EXCELLENCY:

ANCHOR: Dav – (Best numbers on the team over last month)

Top Stacking Options: Dav, HOLMES, Rilax

MATCH 3

Gambit Youngsters (Ranked 28th in World) vs LDLC (Ranked 75th in World)

In the third best of three match of the day in the Swiss opening round, we have Gambit Youngsters facing off against LDLC. Surprisingly enough, I thought that Gambit would be the largest favorite on the slate by quite the margin, well they are the biggest favorite, but they are only -303 on the money line. I had figured they would be more around -400 or higher to be quite honest. The only match these two played this year was a 2-0 sweep for Gambit Youngsters. However, LDLC has reeled off five straight wins in their last five matches, with four of those five coming via the 2-0 sweep. Pretty good little streak they are on lately. Top performers in their only head-to-head match included SIXER and body for LDLC, and Ax1Le had quite the match as well going 54-34 for +30 K-D diff, 1.19 ADR, and 1.84 Rating. Next best was Sh1ro at 39-20 K-D, with a 102.2 ADR, and 1.69 Rating. Since have don’t have much head-to-head data, let’s talk about the top performers over the last month. It continues to be the Sh1ro and Ax1Le show for Gambit as both have been absolutely rolling and both sitting above a 1.24 Rating over their last 34 maps. For LDLC, a 43-map sample over the last month shows bodyy has performed the best sitting at a 1.23 Rating, 0.80 KPR, 0.70 DPR, 1.43 IMP, and 89.6 ADR. Both hAdji (1.16 Rating), and SIXER (1.07 Rating) are both performing well above average over that span as well. Let’s take a look at some maps.

The two first bans for these two squads include Nuke for Gambit, and Mirage for LDLC. The two typical first map choices lately have been Dust2 for LDLC, and Overpass for Gambit. I think we could see LDLC also go with Inferno over Dust2, as it is a map they have won five in a row on lately, while also winning roughly 70% of their last 16 tries there as well. Also, worth noting that LDLC has been on a four-map skid on Dust2 as well lately, so this should also play more into LDLC picking Inferno instead. I do believe we see Overpass and Inferno in this one, so let’s see who is performing the best on these lately. For Gambit Youngsters on their projected map choice of Overpass (23 map sample) 1.33 Rating, 0.84 KPR, 0.60 DPR, 1.34 IMP, and 93.7 ADR. All other teammates follow here but of course its Sh1ro right next at 1.21, supra at 1.07, interz at 1.05, and nafany at 1.03. For Inferno (20 map sample) it is Sh1ro at 1.20 Rating, 0.69 KPR, 0.54 DPR, 1.14 IMP, and 73.6 ADR. Next, it is Ax1Le at 1.16, nafany at 1.07 and that closes out the list. For LDLC on their projected map of Inferno (12 map sample) bodyy tops the team sitting with a 1.24 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 0.70 DPR, 1.34 IMP, and 91.9 ADR. Behind him is hAdji at 1.16, SIXER at 1.12, and both Lambert and afroo  at 1.08. For LDLC on Overpass (three map sample) it is bodyy once again in the lead with a 1.23 Rating, 0.87 KPR, 0.71 DPR, 1.57 IMP, and 88.9 ADR. Just one other teammate follows him here above a 1.0 Rating and that is hAdji at 1.07. I think this match could turnout to be closer than expected, as LDLC is riding quite the high at the moment. Gambit is a very good team however, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see this end in a 2-0 sweep for Gambit either. Let’s talk options.

GAMBIT YOUNGSTERS:

ANCHOR: Sh1ro – (Will likely have quite a bit of he and Ax1Le, both have just been amazing lately)

Top Stacking Options: Sh1ro, Ax1Le, nafany/supra

LDLC:

ANCHOR: bodyy – (Clearly their best player and is the carry for them also)

Top Stacking Options: bodyy, hAdji, SIXER

MATCH 4

NAVI Junior (Ranked 67th in World) vs BIG Academy (Ranked 114th in World)

Our final best of three match in the Swiss opening rounds features a couple baby-brother squads in NAVI Junior and BIG Academy. The current betting odds are not listed for this match, as it seems there was a mix up with who was going to be participating in this match. Obviously, just by looking on paper, we can imagine that NAVI will be a favorite in this one. Both squads come into this one in similar form as both have won three of their last five matches. NAVI has produced two sweeps in their last two wins, while BIG coupled together a couple of 2-1 results in their last two wins. Both teams are fresh off victories in their most recent match. We do not have any head-to-head data for these two, so we must look at some individual stats for these two over the last month or so. For NAVI over the last month (10 map sample) Aunkere is leading the team over this span with a 1.30 Rating, 0.83 KPR, 0.63 DPR, 1.41 IMP, and 90.9 ADR. All other options for NAVI have performed quite well over this span also with B1T at 1.27, Gospadarov at 1.24, kapacho at 1.10, and lastly, Topa at 1.06. For BIG (20 map sample) it is Krimbo at the top with a 1.18 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 0.69 DPR, 1.25 IMP, and 85.3 ADR. Only one other option sits above a 1.0 Rating here and that is PANIX at 1.11. Let’s take a look at some projected map picks for this match.

The two first ban maps for these two include Vertigo for BIG and Nuke for NAVI. Just so happens that Nuke has been the typical first map chosen by BIG over 70% of the time lately, so we will have to look at their secondary first map choice. That secondary first map choice lately for BIG has been Overpass, a map they have won three of their last four on. Dust2 has been the typical first map chosen by NAVI lately, so I do feel pretty confident that we see Overpass and Dust2. With that said, let’s see who has performed well on these two maps lately. For NAVI on their projected map choice of Dust2 (14 map sample) it is B1T at the top with a 1.27 Rating, 0.80 KPR, 0.62 DPR, 1.33 IMP, and 86.5 ADR. Three others follow him here with Gospadarov at 1.16, Topa at 1.12, and Aunkere at 1.00. For Overpass (5 map sample) Aunkere is the top option here for this sample sitting with a 1.19 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 0.69 DPR, 1.33 IMP, and 85.9 ADR. Two others fit the bill here with B1T at 1.08, and Gospadarov rounds it out at 1.01. Looking at BIG on their projected map choice of Overpass (4 map sample) Krimbo has been the top player here sitting at a 1.37 Rating, 0.90 KPR, 0.67 DPR, 1.43 IMP, and 93.5 ADR. Three others follow here starting with HadeZ at 1.33,  prosus at 1.23, and lastly, PANIX at 1.20. On Dust2 (6 map sample) Krimbo also the top player here as well with a 1.14 Rating, 0.77 KPR, 0.71 DPR, 1.33 IMP, and 87.2 ADR. Only one other meets the requirements here and that is PANIX at 1.06. I really like NAVI in this one and think they likely win this match as well. Let’s talk options.

NAVI JUNIOR:

ANCHOR: B1T – (Tops projected maps, and has best numbers over last month)

Top Stacking Options: B1T, Aunkere, Gospadarov

BIG ACADEMY:

ANCHOR: Krimbo – (Easly their best  player and the numbers support the carry as well)

Top Stacking Options: Krimbo, PANIX, prosus
