FANation! It is a new week, and that means new money! On this glorious Monday, we have a swift 6-game slate, and this is another edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! There should be some potential value opening later before tip, but for now there is a few plays to highlight below…

DRAFTKINGS

1.) Robert Covington (MIN - $5,900)- RoCo has been excellent lately, going for 37.8 and 35.9 in two of his last three contests. It seems that he might finally be falling into a nice groove, and we will look for him to stay hot tonight at home. It has already been reported that Andrew Wiggins did NOT participate in shoot-around this morning with illness, and we already see that Karl Anthony-Towns is questionable once again as well. RoCo has taken full advantage lately of the extra usage, and minutes as well, as he has played 35 and 40 in his last two. He has also topped 30 or more fantasy points in three of his last four at home, and we know how much we love fading the Brooklyn frontcourt.

2.) Tyler Herro (MIA - $4,600)- Just see this price on Herro tonight being a bit short. Herro is seeing very nice run off the bench still, and even with Dragic back, Herro still saw 30 minutes on the floor in his last outing. He is taking double-digit field goal attempts almost every game, as he has over his last eight straight, and he managed to accumulate 38.3 FPs in this same meeting the last time these two teams faced off. He has topped 30 or more fantasy points in four of his last seven, and in the event that this game gets a bit out of hand, Herro should likely be one of the beneficiaries of extended run on the 2nd unit.

3.) Terrence Ross (ORL - $4,200)- Similar situation to Herro here in Ross. Ross is going to see more extended run tonight with the absence of starting PF Aaron Gordon , who has already been ruled OUT. Ross was already seeing extended run over the Magic last couple of games, as he has now seen 27 or more minutes on the floor over his last three. Also, in two of those three due to the extended run, Ross was able to notch out 27.3 and 36.0 FP performances as well. With the likelihood that Jon Issac shifts over to play the PF spot for Gordon tonight, this means that Ross will likely be the first one off the bench, or could potentially start at the SF spot tonight. This is great news for his price, and the fact that he is facing an ATL team that has struggled mightily against the SF spot this season.

FANDUEL

1. Jon Isaac ($6,5000- I believe Isaac is a play on both sites tonight, but for the blocks/steals upside he brings, we will play him on FD, which he is actually $100 cheaper on as well. Isaac has been a beast lately, accruing 16 total steals, and nine total blocks over his last four contests. He has topped 50 FanDuel points in two of his last three as well, and should see plenty of run once again tonight as the Magic set out to play the Hawks without Aaron Gordon . Don’t over-think this one.

2.) Brook Lopez ($5,000)- Lopez has gotten quite the usage bump since Giannis took a seat on the bench over the Buck’s last couple of games. In the event that he sits once again tonight, BroLo could once again become elite value. However, it is noted that BroLo has been good even with Giannis in this season. Over Lopez’s last five games, he has swatted 16 total shots, with three steals to boot. He has now topped 30 FanDuel points in five of his six contests, and gets a great matchup here tonight against the Bulls, who have been one of the worst Center defending teams in the league for most of the season.

3.) Jarrett Culver ($3,600)- If Wiggins and KAT happen to sit once again, Culver could potentially see some extra run. Fresh off a 24-minute outing last game, putting up 23 FanDuel points, Culver could be a sneaky value once again. He only put up seven real points, but it was the three blocks and two steals that really fueled his fantasy production against the Cavs last time out. This is a play only if all the right pieces fall into place, but with the way it looks as of now, it could absolutely fall the way we want to and we could get the Culver value. It’s also a great spot, in a fast-paced setting at home against the Nets.
