Welcome back, ladies and gents. This is the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault. I will go ahead and say that tonight’s six-game slate has nowhere near the amount of value that last nights had, so that makes it that much harder to spot the good values. However, I believe I have found a few I like quite a bit. As always, this article features THREE player options with value for both major sites, DraftKings and FanDuel.

DRAFTKINGS

1.) Paul Millsap ($4,700)- I believe I will have a decent amount of Millsap for tonight. It is interesting when looking at Millsap’s home/road splits even dating back to last season, and I know that they haven’t played many games at home this season; however, when looking, last season when at home: (21.0% usage) 14.7 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.2 apg--- On the road: (18.4% usage) 10.4 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.9 apg. Now, let’s look at this year SO FAR—This season at home: (20.5% usage) 15.5 ppg. 5.0 rpg, 1.0 apg--- On the road this season so far: 9.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 0.5 apg. So, the proof is in the pudding here, and he plays better at home. Last game at home, he put up 35 fantasy points. Tonight, the Heat come to town with the 6th highest PACE in the NBA. This is a pace-up spot for the nuggets at home, and I love the price on Millsap here, especially being both PF/C eligible on DraftKings.

2.) Bryn Forbes ($4,400)- Forbes hasn’t been a massive fantasy stud this season, and that’s totally fine. When you are surrounded by guys like Dejounte Murray and DeMar DeRozan , it is hard to grab a ton of looks. However, Forbes has still been a very nice floor play this season, he’s playing at least 25 minutes or more a game, as well as scoring consistently in the 20’s in terms of fantasy points. All games but one so far for Forbes, he has topped 21.5 or more fantasy points, so of course, he is not going to be a huge producer, but if you find yourself paying up for 1-3 studs tonight, like most will try to do once again on a smaller slate, then you can slot in Forbes to get that consistency you need.

3.) Hamidou Diallo ($3,500)- Diallo has been picking it up with the extended run he has been receiving lately. His minutes have gone from 18, to 20, to 30 minutes in his last three contests. In those same contests, he has notched out 20.0, 31.5, and 23.3 fantasy points as well. To put a bit further context into those games, he has scored at least nine real points, grabbed a total of five or more rebounds, and dished at least one dime. He isn’t exactly known to be a big scorer, but he shoots the three well, and he will go up to get rebounds, not to mention he is an excellent defender, so believe those stats will begin to accumulate also.

FANDUEL

1). Marcus Smart ($5,600)- So, we will play Smart once again tonight, as Jaylen Brown is missing ANOTHER game with said illness. Not sure what illness he has, but I hope I never get it. Either way, Smart has been eating minutes ever since he became the starter. Playing 27, 38, and 30 minutes in his last three. He has recorded at least one steal in all three, while snatching up THREE alone last game. Tonight, he gets a turnover prone Cavs back-court, which could obviously pad those steals once again. Smart didn’t have a great shooting night in his last game, but was still able to accumulate 23.1 FanDuel points, to go with his 35.8, and 33.2 in the two games prior. Have to eat this chalk once again tonight on the medium slate.

2.) Jabari Parker ($4,800)- This is another play that could end up being chalky now since the news that starting PF John Collins has been suspended for 25 games for violation the anti-drug code. This automatically vaults Parker likely into a starting role, and could potentially house him 30+ minutes. The Hawks really do not have much depth behind Parker in terms of PF replacements. Parker was already seeing around the 22-minute mark. He has put up 20.4 and 34.6 fantasy points over on FanDuel for the last two games. Tonight, gets a Spurs team that is allowing the 2nd most fantasy points to the PF spot, so this is a great spot to go ahead and plug him in.

3.) Terrence Ross ($3,900)- Ross seems like he may be finding his groove? In the Magic’s last game, Ross played 22 minutes, scored 10 points, grabbed five boards, dished out three assists, swatted a shot, and came up with two take-aways. These are obviously some great numbers to have over on FanDuel who credits more fantasy points for blocks and steals. Ross is still in the same role that he was last season, and he had an amazing season off the bench last year. It’s a matter of when his shots start falling, as he has gone a putrid 17-of-54 from the field so far, this year. He was 4-for-9 in this last game, not great, but not as bad as some of his games have been, so likely it could be a positive going into tonight’s game with OKC. If we get Ross at a 0.8% ownership on a six-game slate where he decides to drop 20 real points, it would be a major boost to lineups. Just let me say, this is strictly a tournament play.
