What is up, FANation? Back again for another edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! On this glorious Monday, October 28th, we are gifted with a hefty 11-game NBA DFS slate, and there is plenty of value to be had! Lots of content today on Fantasy Alarm as always but Jon Impemba, James Grande, Justin Fensterman, and myself, so be on the look-out! As always, here comes THREE players from both major sites (DK and FD) that I believe can provide a ton of value at their current price point on the respective site. As always, you guys can find me either in the FA User Live Chat, or can also find me on Twitter @Smitchell17, so if you have questions, please don’t hesitate!

DraftKings

1.) Brandon Ingram ($7,500)- Ingram has been an absolute beast to start the NBA season. His price continues to rise, but I still believe he is just priced too low for the usage that he is getting. It could be another game that the Pelicans do not have Jrue Holiday , and this played right into Ingram, as he saw the main usage bump out of the rest of the starters last game. Ingram throttled the Houston Rockets for 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists. This line was good for a massive 63.3 fantasy point output on DraftKings. Ingram has now topped 40 fantasy points in three straight contests, is carrying a usage rate over 27%, AND he gets the Warriors at home, who have allowed the third most fantasy points to small forwards so far on the season.

2.) Montrezl Harrell ($6,400)- This should literally be a smash spot for Harrell tonight. The Clippers are welcoming in the Hornets, who just played last night against the Lakers and kept the game decently close through three quarters. It is no surprise that the Hornets are bad. They are really bad. They are also allowing the second most fantasy points to the Center spot on the season, and AD just took them for 29 points and 14 rebounds. The best part about Harrell, is that he comes off the bench. He usually plays a ton of minutes even so when the game is close, but he should round out garbage time as well, and this is where he could easily make his money tonight. Harrell is averaging 32.5 mins per game, while also carrying a moderate 20.5% usage.

3.) Coby White ($5,000)- White has come on very strong in his rookie year with the Bulls. He has now seen at least 22 mins or more, while eclipsing 30 fantasy points in two of his three contests. The only game he failed to do so was against the Toronto Raptors, a very good defensive team. However, that is not the case tonight, as the Bulls travel to the Big Apple to take on the Knicks in MSG. It is highly noteworthy that the Knicks have been getting absolutely torched by opposing point guards (allowing most fantasy points to opposing point guards per Fantasy Alarm player vs Position tool). Coby has seen all his minutes at the point guard spot while spelling start Tomas Satoranksy. They love this kid, and he is getting ample playing time, and not to mention the fact that his is seeing the HIGHEST usage rate on the team at 31.0%! Love Coby on DraftKings as the 3-pointer is one of his best attributes, and we know you get a little bonus for those on DK.

FanDuel

1.) Bobby Portis ($5,000)- If you are into the revenge narrative thing, this couldn’t get any better as Bobby Portis welcomes in the Bulls to his new home. If you follow basketball, you know about the incident and issues that the Bulls and BP had. That’s obviously in the past, but this narrative still applies. BP is always a risky play, because Fizdale is a lunatic and we never truly know what rotations he will roll out, but you can’t really ignore the price on BP tonight against this Bulls team. In his last game against the good defensive team in the Boston Celtics, he played 27 minutes, had a poor shooting night going 3-for-11 from the field, and 0-4 from 3-point land, but still managed right points, 11 rebounds, one dime, and one block on the night. Either way, we know BP is a defensive-minded player and the steals and blocks will be there. He has now seen 27 and 33 minutes in two of the three contests he’s played in, and with Mitchell Robinson still somewhat nursing an ankle injury, I would expect BP to continue to see nice minutes.

2.) George Hill ($4,000)- This is a true value play here, and it’s not a dumpster dive by any means. Jon and I did the first-look preview of the slate last night and we discussed Hill in decent length, and it was Jon’s play, so I can’t take the credit for it, but I can piggy-back it here. Hill is still a part of this rotation, nonetheless, AND he has seen 28 and 30 minutes of playing time in the Bucks first two games so far. He can be a decent source of scoring, but the big thing here is that he has one block and three steals in those games, stats that will benefit his fantasy point out-put over on FanDuel. You don’t really need him to do a whole heck of a lot at $4.0k salary, as 5x his value is a mere 20 fantasy points.

3.) Mario Hezonja ($3,600)- Hezonja looked to be the main beneficiary in last night’s game after starting power forward Zach Collins went down hard on his shoulder dislocating it at the joint. This could be a decently moderate injury to Collins as well, and he is having an MRI done today. This could play well into Mario’s role, as he saw 24 minutes in last night’s game against the Mavericks. In those 24 minutes, Hez did account for four points on 2-of-7 shooting, eight rebounds, two assists, one block, and a steal. Therefore, I felt I should have him on the FanDuel side, due to his counting stats that include steals and blocks. Hez won’t be usage monster by any means here, but with the vacated time that could potentially happen if Collins does happen to miss some time, will allow Hez to get some extended run. Grab him now, his price won’t stay here for long.
