Dorian Finney-Smith , SF, DAL ($4,300)

After two straight games of 14 points each, Finney-Smith dropped down to four points last night, but he did salvage his evening by grabbing nine rebounds. The forward is a high-volume shooter from downtown, 22 attempts over his last four games, so the assumption here is that it was just an off shooting night. Finney-Smith has played a minimum of 32 minutes in each of his last five games and his price makes the journey to 5x value a relatively easy one even if I’m not sure we can count on much more than that.

Bruce Brown , SG BKN ($4,600)

Will there be any defense played tonight between Brooklyn and Sacramento? With an over/under of 242 I wouldn’t bank on much and Kevin Durant being sidelined for at least one more game means Brown will continue to be in prime position to be a fantasy asset. In his last game on Sunday, we got a taste of what upside looks like for Brown as he put up 36.6 FD points in what was one of his better games of the season. Brown scored 13 points but also grabbed eight rebounds, and perhaps even more importantly, four assists. His offensive game has gotten better as of late and he certainly made use of his 34 minutes of playing time with all of his other production providing a nice floor while the scoring gives us that upside we are after.

Facundo Campazzo, PG DEN ($4,200)

With five straight games of scoring in double figures, Campazzo is worth a look tonight as he is averaging 29 minutes of playing time in that span. The main issue here though, is that while he scores, the point guard struggles to do much of anything else on a consistent basis so that does limit his upside. At the same time though, can we really argue with a 5x return on value while retaining room for more? We do have a game with an over/under of 231.5 so the pace will be fast and offense will be flowing against Portland tonight, and we did see Campazzo pick up eight assists the other night so we know it’s possible but we would settle for four assists with 15 points and two steals.

DraftKings

DeAndre Jordan , C BKN ($5,500)

It’s not about who starts the game in the middle for Brooklyn, Jeff Green , but instead, it’s about who plays close to 30 minutes a night, and that is Jordan. He is coming off his best game of the season on Sunday, and while I generally don’t like to chase yesterday’s production, it is a solid price for a center who we know has a 20-to-25-point floor in a game that is expected to be high scoring. In 32 minutes of play against the Clippers, Jordan scored 13 points while grabbing 11 rebounds (reasonable production) while picking up four blocks. For the season, Jordan is averaging 1.4 blocks per game so while it is a skill he owns, it is not something I’m planning on each night.

Zeke Nnaji, PF, DEN ($3,100)

It doesn’t get much more value than Nnaji, but after playing 30 minutes on Sunday, it’s hard to ignore him as it’s like his price is taunting you. With Paul Milsap, Gary Harris , and JaMychal Green all sidelined, Nnaji steps back into the starting lineup for what we hope will be a better performance than his last game. All the rookie had to show for himself from two nights ago was seven points, three rebounds, one assist, and two turnovers which is not a recipe for DFS success. On the optimistic side though, he does have games of 16 and 14 points under his belt this month and he is essentially a free square in game that will likely have a lot of offense. Portland isn’t a particularly big team in the post, and opposing power forwards have had success against them so far this season, so in the right GPP lineup, this is a gamble I’m willing to make tonight.

Tim Hardaway , SG DAL ($4,500)

Hardaway isn’t going to provide much other than scoring off the bench, but at his price, does that really matter? At his worst, Hardaway is generally good for about 10 points per game but he is averaging 17.1 points per game so far this season so that isn’t something you need to worry about all that often as he has scored in double-digits in all but one game this month. Hardaway is coming off a 29-point performance last night and he generally plays in the high 20’s as far as minutes go, so he has plenty of opportunity to hoist up shots.
