NASCAR DFS: Toyota 500 Playbook

It’s Darlington week...wait didn’t we do this already? Yes they ran there on Sunday for the return of Cup racing to the track and now will be back at Darlington for Wednesday’s race. This race however, is shorter than Sunday’s contest was by, about 70 laps at 227 for Wednesday’s event.

We will be taking a lot of stock from Sunday’s race as to who looked good and who might be a flier for Wednesday’s race. The time for Wednesday’s race has been moved up to 6 pm ET from 7:30 pm ET due to the threat of inclement weather and trying to avoid it during the race. Keep in mind that Wednesday’s race will be run at night under the lights and that means the track will be different from Sunday’s race because there will be more grip in the track and the cars will handle differently as the race goes on.
