It was an interesting race at Dover as it wound up being run on Monday instead of Sunday due to rain all day in the mid-Atlantic region. When it was run on Monday there were a couple of big names that had to start in the back of the field in Martin Truex Jr. and Alex Bowman who both qualified well but failed pre-race inspection a couple of times and thus were dealt a penalty. It didn’t slow them down much though as they wound up finishing in the top two spots, the first time that two drivers starting in the rear finished 1-2 since 2014 at Talladega. The early part of the race was dominated by Chase Elliott but it seemed as though when the track became more and more rubbered up that the 9-car fade a bit more as the race went on. Let’s see how the ownership and values played out across both sites for the Gander RV 400 at Dover.

The lineups turned out to have the same core group of drivers on both sites in Martin Truex Jr., Chase Elliott, and Alex Bowman who all finished in the top-five spots with Elliott and Truex Jr. combining to lead 277 of the 400 laps in the race. While Kyle Larson is in the DraftKings optimal, he isn’t in the FanDuel one since his price tag compared to the value didn’t work to fit him in the five-man roster. Both optimals were played by multiple entries in the GPP contests.
