Top-Tier

Trea Turner, LAD – Turner is having a fantastic season, hitting .318 with 22 home runs, 94 runs scored, and leading the NL in hits with 176 and steals with 30. He is currently on a nine-game hitting streak, hitting .333 with a home run, four steals, and six runs scored in that span. He is slashing a ridiculous .383/.429/.645 against lefties, compared to .295/.344/.453 against righties. This is also a Coors Field game, so there are so many things working in Turner’s favor tonight. Freeland has really struggled this season at home too with a 5.36 ERA and 1.47 WHIP, compared to a 3.84 ERA and 1.36 WHIP on the road. On top of that, 16 of the 20 home runs that he has given up have been to righties. He is the top spend up and play of the day.

Mid-Tier

Josh Harrison, OAK – Harrison is having a nice season, hitting .289 with eight home runs, nine steals, and 33 doubles. He is hitting .294 with nine RBI over his last nine games. He has been much stronger against lefties, slashing .309/.377/.434 against them, compared to .282/.340/.411 against righties. Righties have done all the damage against Kikuchi this season as they are slashing .271/.350/.482 against him with 22 home runs and 25 doubles, compared to the .147/.194/.272 line that lefties have produced with just five home runs and two doubles. At a mid-tier price he should be able to pay it off today and hit value.

Tyler O’Neill, STL – O’Neill has been swinging a hot bat, slashing .333/.400/.702 over his last 23 games with eight home runs, three steals, 22 RBI, and 22 runs scored. He’s also slashing .351/.419/.730 over his last 10 games with four home runs, two steals, 14 RBI, and 14 runs scored. He has been better against lefties this season than righties, but he has been good against righties as well, slashing .276/.338/.514 against them with 23 of his 29 home runs and 12 of his 13 steals. Houser is coming off a rough game in which he gave up seven hits and five runs across four innings of work. Expect the Cardinals to stay hot and put some runs on the board.

Bargain Bin

Willy Adames, MIL – Adames has been great with the Brewers, slashing .289/.370/.520 over 90 games with them with 17 home runs, four steals, 52 RBI, 25 doubles, and 52 runs scored. He has massive reverse splits too, slashing .274/.347/.489 against righties, compared to .235/.316/.449 against lefties. This isn’t a great matchup as it comes against Waino, but he is so cheap that I think he makes for an interesting GPP play that has a lot of upside. Waino is also a bit worse on the road with a 3.16 ERA and 1.12 WHIP, compared to a 2.72 ERA and 0.98 WHIP at home.

Jarred Kelenic, SEA – Kelenic has been better at the dish lately, hitting .263 with FIVE home runs, two steals, 10 RBI, and nine runs scored over his last 11 games. In that span he has seven games with at least nine points scored on DK and two games with north of 30 points, which is amazing upside at this price tag. He has also been far better against righties, slashing .191/.285/.415 against them with with 11 home runs and ALL six of his steals, compared to .149/.211/.237 against lefties with just two home runs and no steals. Lefty bats have accounted for 11 of the 15 home runs that Bassitt has given up this season.
