Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat (+6)

Game Total: 214.5

Lakers lead 3-2

I didn't think we would be this far into the series but Miami has had some heroic efforts from Jimmy Butler in this series which includes Game 5 in which he played all but one minute, scoring 35 points with 12 reboudns, 11 assists and five steals. Duncan Robinson had a career night, scoring 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting while going 7-for-13 from three-point range. Kendrick Nunn was strong off the bench, scoring 14 points. For the Lakers LeBron James lead the way with a game high 40 points with 13 rebounds and seven boards. Anthony Davis scored 28 points with 12 boards, three steals and three blocks but utlimately the supporting cast was not strong enough. On to Game 6 we go.

Please note players are ranked in order of preference. If a player is not listed that does not mean they are a full fade.

MVP/CPT

1. Jimmy Butler , SG - How do you not go back to Butler right now? I know Goran Dragic is active but how much will he actually play? It's also pretty clear that if the Heat are going to win it is because Butler is taking over. He has at least a double-double in all but one game in this series and has triple-doubles in two of the last three.

2. LeBron James , SF - Like Butler, LBJ is just match up proof here. Whether the Lakers win or lose Game 6 you know that LeBron is going to show out. I expect him to come into Game 6 poised to put this Lakers team on his back and drag them to an NBA title. My pick is the Lakers to win tonight and LBJ has himself a triple-double.

3. Tyler Herro , SG - While Jimmy Butler is going to be the reason the Heat advance to Game 7, he won't do it alone. In Game 5 he got a career night from Duncan Robinson . I think Herro could play that part in Game 6. He is your highest upside mid-tier player in my opinion with the safest floor level of production.

Mid-Tier

1. Anthony Davis , PF - Davis had a really big Game 5 and he certainly can be your MVP/CPT tonight if you want but he fits nicely as a utility play. The Heat lack any real match up issue for him and while I know he struggled a few nights ago I do expect James to have AD very focused on making sure this series does not reach a Game 7.

2. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope , SG - KCP has been strong throughout this series for the Lakers. His minutes are secure and his abiltiy to hit the three and play defense is great for his fantasy floor level of production. Through five games in this series he has scored fewer than 20 fantasy points just once.

3. Duncan Robinson , SF - Robinson lives and dies by the three-point shot but luckily for him he is also very good from beyond-the-arc. He had a career night in Game 5 to help the Heat even be able to play tonight. If he gets hot early you know the minutes will be there and so will the production.

Dart Throw

1. Rajon Rondo , PG - Though a dart throw, Rondo has a lot of fantasy upside given his ability to fill the stat sheet. Of course we also know he is a boom or bust play but this is Game 6 and I think a more focused Rondo steps onto the floor tonight.

2. Goran Dragic , PG - Dragic is going to be active tonight and that's really all we know. He has dealt with a foot injury since Game 1 and has missed each game since. How effective will he be? How many minutes will he play? All great questions. If he guts it out then there is some solid upside here given his track record.
