Tennesee Titans vs Dallas Cowboys

Dallas -4.5

Total: 40

Pre-Game Props

1) The last non-kneeling offensive play of the 1Q is a passing play.

I am going to go with a NO for this question.  Both teams rely heavily on their running games and I can see a running play to the likes of Zeke or Dion Lewis being the final play of the first quarter.

2) A player from either team records 3 or more receptions during the 1Q

As I said on today's live stream I am expecting the Cowboys to get Amari Cooper going early.  I see him doing so with a big first quarter and maybe this prop hits during the Cowboys first drive. Big YES for me here.

3) Elliot or Mariota score a TD in the 1st Q

I am going with a NO here.  I am not expecting a ton of points scored in this one so I don't think either team finds the end zone during the first quarter but rather settle for some field goals.

4) The first offensive play of the 1Q games 5 or more total yards.

I am not a fan of either offense so I am going to go with a NO here.  The Cowboys likely open with a run and the Titans have a strong run defense.  Likewise the Cowboys defense is also pretty solid.  I don't see 5 yards coming on the first play here.

5) Beasley records a reception on the Cowboys opening drive.

I am going with a YES on this one.  He has been Dak's go to receiver this season and even though Amari Cooper is now in town I am still going with Beasley making a grab on the first drive.

6) Lewis rushes for 10 or more total yards on the Titans opening drive.

I went ahead and chose YES for this one.  Lewis is capable of breaking off a big gain so I went ahead and will give him the benefit of the doubt that he can get that done during the Titans first drive.

Players To Watch

Dallas Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliot- The Titans boast a stout run defense but in reality Elliot is the Cowboys best chance putting up points in this matchup.  On the season he has rushed for 619 yards and three scores while averaging 4.7 yards per carry.  Even with new aquisition Amari Cooper joining the team I still expect a run heavy offense from the Cowboys.

Amari Cooper - Cooper disapointed during his time with the Raiders but he gets a new start here in Dallas after the Cowboys sent a first round pick for him to Oakland.  The pressure is on Cooper here as a first round pick is nothing to scoff at. I am expecting the game plan is to get him involved early and often to make Jerry Jones look good after pulling off such a trade.  The Titans have actually struggled against opposing receivers this season so Cooper could still be in for a big night.

Dak Prescott - Who knows what we can expect form Dak in this matchup.  The Titans do not defend receivers well but Dak hasn't exactly been the best QB this season as he is completing just 62% of his passes while throwing eight touchdowns and four interceptions.  I think this game is going to be won with Elliot so any Dak props should likely defer to the under here.

Tennesee Titans

Dion Lewis - Lewis is the clear lead back of the group between he and Derrick Henry and that was evident against the Chargers when he ran for 91 yards on 13 carries while adding six catches for 64 yards.  I am taking the over on most Lewis props this evening.

Marcus Mariota - Mariota has been awful this season, posting a 78.5 QB Rating while throwing just three touchdowns to five interceptions. He can not be trust and in turn the Titans passing attack can't be trusted.  This should be a low scoring contest for the Titans unless they figured something out during their bye week.

Corey Davis - Davis should be a focal point of the team's passing attack but he goes as the QB goes and against the Chargers that resulted in three catches on seven targets for 10 yards.  Unless Mariota impresses during the Titans first drive I am likely going under on all Titans passing props.
