Cleveland Indians vs Kohl Stewart

Steward has made three major leagues starts this season and in each start he has allowed three runs while going no more than 4.2 innings. Two of those outings came against the Tigers who really struggle against right-handed pitching. Tonight’s start comes against a powerhouse lineup in the Cleveland Indians who boast two potential MVP candidates in José Ramírez and Francisco Lindor . Cleveland can stack left-handed bats against Stewart given that both Ramirez and Lindor are switch hitters and the likes of Michael Brantley , Yonder Alonso and Jason Kipnis all hit from the left side of the plate as well.  Cleveland’s players are always very expensive but more often than not they are worth the price tag.

Top Options: José Ramírez , Francisco Lindor , Michael Brantley

Secondary Options: Edwin Encarnación , Yonder Alonso , Jason Kipnis

New York Yankees vs Reynaldo López

Lopez has some of the worse peripheral stats in baseball this season, owning a 5.16 FIP, 5.50 xFIP and a 5.18 SIERA. He also has a very low 6.6 K/9 and pairs that with a very high 3.8 BB/9.  All of these are a recipe for disaster against a team like the Yankees, especially in Yankee Stadium. I know New York’s bats have been somewhat held quiet this series but they are due to breakout sooner or later and tonight could and should very well be the night.

Top Options: Giancarlo Stanton , Miguel Andujar , Aaron Hicks

Secondary Options: Brett Gardner , Neil Walker , Gleyber Torres

Secondary Stack

Milwaukee Brewers vs Matt Harvey

I know Harvey is actually pitching pretty well right now, posting a 3.64 ERA over his last 10 starts.  Harvey even shutout the Brewers over 5.2 innings during a previous start this season. However, despite all of that I still find the Brewers to be one of the top stacks on tonight’s slate.  First, they get to play in that little league field that is the Great American Ballpark so all the home run hitter in Milwaukee’s lineup gets a bump. Secondly, there are just too many good hitters in this Brewers lineup to not be intrigued by this matchup.  Christian Yelich should be the top option in all stacks but Lorenzo Cain , Travis Shaw , Ryan Braun and Jesus Aguilar should also all be in consideration. Each one of those guys all have the home run upside that you look for in your DFS lineups.

Top Options: Christian Yelich , Lorenzo Cain , Travis Shaw ,

Secondary Options: Jesus Aguilar , Ryan Braun , Mike Moustakas
