Top Stacks

Washington Nationals vs Sonny Gray

I am all about stacking this game in general today.  Gray has been HORRIBLE at home this season, posting a 7.22 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP while allowing 23 runs over 28.2 innings.  Even during his recent strong stretch of four starts he allowed five runs on seven hits in the one home start while allowing just two runs total between the three road starts.  The Nationals lineup is finally 100% with the returns of Adam Eaton and Daniel Murphy .  Murphy is an absolute must play at his price tag on FanDuel and I am going to be having different variations of this stack up and down their lineup tonight.

New York Yankees vs Erick Fedde

Fedde is supposedly one of the top pitching prospects in the Nationals organization but he has struggled at Triple-A this season and in four career major league starts he has an ERA over 8.00.  I can’t imagine today will be the day he “figures it out” so stacking against him will be popular.  Aaron Judge is a must for me today as is Brett Gardner who is on fire right now.  From there I am going with Didi following his two-home run performance.  I don’t mind stacking the bottom of the Yankees lineup tonight either with Austin Romine behind the plate, Greg Bird and Gleyber Torres as well.

Contrarian Stack

Ehire Adrianza and the MinnesotaTwins vs Matthew Boyd

The one-man stack.. I am kidding a bit but not really.  I have been all over Adrianza against left-handed pitching all season and last night we hit the jackpot.  The matchup that first caught my eye with Adrianza was this very one right here against Tigers southpaw Matt Boyd.  Adrianza has solid BvP off Boyd, going 4-for-7 with two doubles.  Brian Dozier also loves facing Matt Boyd, going 13-for-32 with three career home runs.  Robbie Grossman who will offer some value on this slate is 6-for-21 with two home runs off Boyd.  If being contrarian you can also use the struggling Miguel Sano because at some point he is going to start hitting home runs.
