Top Tier

Freddy Peralta, SP MIL - The should be a no-brainer play tonight if not for the fact that the Brewers are now watching the pitch counts and innings on their top starters as they work towards their playoff run. Peralta was pulled after four innings of one hit baseball after 51 pitches in his last outing. He recently faced the Pirates and held them to two runs over six innings while striking out seven. Proceed here with caution as he is very expensive and may not pitch long enough to get the win.

Frankie Montas, SP OAK - Small slate tonight so not many "top options" per say, especially with Freddy Peralta now being on a pitch limit in what would be the best matchup so we turn our attention towards Montas here against the Angles. Over his last three starts Montas has registered 27 strikeouts over 18.2 innings which is quite impressive. He has faced the Angels twice this season, going 1-1 with a 1.42 ERA while striking out 15 over 12.2 innings.

Mid Tier

Joe Musgrove, SP SD - The strikeout numbers are way down since the "sticky stuff" ban which is not the greatest look for Musgrove but he has a good matchup here against the Rockies who are just horrible on the road. Musgrove is coming off a strong start against Miami in which he allowed just two runs over six innings while striking out four.

Value Tier

Casey Mize, SP DET - Mize is another pitcher that is currently having his pitch counts and innings monitored which is not great for fantasy BUT on this small of a slate there are only so many capable pitchers to choose from, especially on DraftKings where you have to pick two. Mize Has been solid this season and has a 3.86 ERA over his last 10 starts which spans 51.1 innings. There is obvious risk here but he is cheap.
