DraftKings

Richaun Holmes , C SAC ($5,200)

It was thought that there would be a split between Holmes and Hassan Whiteside with the latter being the one who would eventually play a majority of the minutes. Well, that could happen at some point this year, but it’s the former that’s leading the charge right now. Holmes played a season-high 32 minutes last time out and put up 36.25 DK points, also a season-high mark. On the year, Holmes is averaging 1.03 FP/min and has played the fifth most minutes on the team and has actually doubled Whitesides minutes up to this point. This game has the highest O/U on the board by a wide margin and is one I want a lot of exposure to.

Tyrese Haliburton, PG/SG SAC ($4,900)

Despite this game being the best fantasy environment on the board, the Kings provide us with much needed value at multiple positions, including Haliburton at 4.9K on DK. He’s been a key cog in this Kings rotation averaging 26.5 MPG and has been closing games with the starting unit. Haliburton has averaged a very strong .91 FP/min this year and the Rockets are the worst defensive unit in basketball.

Michael Carter-Williams , PG/SF ORL ($3,600)

Terrence Ross has been ruled out for Orlando opening up 28 minutes for the Magic to distribute and my guess is the first crack at that run is MCW. Carter-Williams has been seeing an uptick in minutes as he’s played 23 and 24 his last two games and has actually been on the floor to close the game in each of them. MCW has been really good peripherally this year, coming away with 5.0 RPG, 1.8  SPG and 1.0 SPG, we just need the points to climb, which they can without Ross soaking up so much usage.

FanDuel

Elfrid Payton , PG NYK ($5,200)

We’ve gotten two strong games in a row from Elf-on-a-shelf and he’s in another enticing spot on Thursday’s four-game slate over on FanDuel. He’s still too cheap, first and foremost, considering he’s put up 30+ FD points in back-to-back outings. The generally good defensive prowess from Toronto has lost its luster this year as they rank 24th in DvP versus the point-guard position. Payton isn’t someone we even think about using in cash because we’ve seen the floor and it’s a dark, dark place, but load up in tournaments.

Jae Crowder , PF PHX ($4,400)

It’s hard not to like Crowder at this price tag considering how well he’s fit in Phoenix. He scored 21 actual points in 21 minutes his last time out and has twice topped 28 FD already, which would crush at this current price point. On the year Crowder has averaged .92 FP/min, which is really, really strong when you consider this a team featuring Devin Booker , Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton . Crowder correlates extremely well with Chris Paul considering he’s knocked down four three’s in a game twice already and CP3 is always looking to set shooters up.

Reggie Bullock , SG NYK ($3,600)

There are two teams on this slate that stand out from a value perspective and that's the Kings and the Knicks. The Knicks are so cheap over on FD and that’s really where I want to get my exposure from. Bullock is coming off a game in which he scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had a block and a steal while playing 41 minutes and is STILL $100 from min price. Alec Burks has been ruled out paving the way for another BIG game in terms of minutes from Bullock. He could easily crush this price tag and be in every winning lineup on the slate.
