Rain, rain, rain and more....RAIN! That's the theme of this slate. All five games have the potential for rain and 3-of-5 almost look definite to rain out. Play light, don't play at all, but be smart with your money. This could be UGLY!

Pitchers

SPMike WrightNCDM. Kim (R)$9,50015.08
There is so much rain on tap for this game, but NCD are big -175 favorites even on the road. Wright was shelled his last time out, but is still averaging 15.1 FP/game and still has a sub-4 ERA. Wright already squared up against KT earlier this season, limiting them to one run across six innings while striking out four. This isn’t the same Wiz offense as we saw earlier in the season.
SPDan StrailyLOTM. Lee (R)$9,20021.52
Straily has been dominant lately. He’s put up 24+ DK points in three straight starts including a 12 K game last time out. He has six straight games of five-plus strikeouts and has allowed two or fewer runs in six straight. The O/U in this game is a slate low nine runs, which puts Straily in the driver's seat and likely becomes the chalk pitcher of the slate.
SPHui Kwan YuDOOJ. Park (R)$7,2009.02
The problem is not with Yu as a pitcher it’s what he provides us with in DFS. He has five wins in eight starts. That’s great. He’s spanned 44 IP over those eight starts. Again, solid. But he’s only struck out 15 batters and has walked 16. He does, however, square off against an anemic offense. He did square up with SK earlier in the year and threw seven innings and had a season-high 5 K’s.
SPYoon Dong HeoSAMS. Jang (R)$5,8007.38
He’s now made three starts and although he’s not a strikeout artist, he’s been very solid and now draws arguably the best match-up on the board. Not only is Hanwha the worst offense in the league, but Heo is the cheapest pitcher on the board despite this match-up as well. Samsung is -200 favorites and could possibly be in the best environment in terms of rain.
Hitters

CEui Ji YangNCDM. Kim (R)$6,1009.64
Welcome back, I suppose. It took Yang no time to get back into the swing of things -- literally -- as he had three extra-base hits including a home run. This is the league’s best hitter from a year ago and although we’re paying 6.1K for a catcher, it’s worth every penny.
CKang Nam YooLGS. Lee (L)$4,0006.9
I’m spending up on Yang at catcher in most lineups, but 4K for a guy hitting .375 over his last 10 games and .304 for the year is a pretty good alternative. Righties have done all the damage against Lee belting five bombs with a .287 average.
1B/OFJae Hwan KimDOOJ. Park (R)$5,4009.61
We’re starting to get the best version of Kim at the dish and on the basepaths. He has swiped two bags over the last two games, he’s hit two bombs over his last nine and has 10 RBI across a 10-game span. He gets the split advantage and is one of the best run producers in the sport.
1B/2BKeon Chang SeoKIWT. Wilson (R)$3,7008.61
During his cold streak at the plate, Seo has flashed his ability to stay fantasy relevant because of his ability to steal bags. He still has an elite .384 OBP, .807 OPS despite hitting .194 over his last 10 games. Again, he has nine steals and is facing a right-hander, so he just needs to get on to flourish.
2B/SSHye Sung KimKIWT. Wilson (R)$2,4007.37
The lefties are the target against WIlson considering he’s allowed them to bat .289 on the year. We want to limit the targets on Kiwoom because we have a strong opponent on the mound, but Kim is so cheap. 2.4K for a guy with an .819 OPS and has homer/stolen base upside.
SSJi Hwan OhLGS. Lee (L)$3,2007.7
I want the right-handed hitters mostly, but Oh is on fire at the dish and there aren’t many other players in the KBO that can steal a bag like him. He has a nine-game hitting streak going, has stolen a bag in 2-of-3 games and now has nine on the year.
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.DK FPPG
SSHak Ju LeeSAMS. Jang (R)$4,2007.03
Lee is heating up for Samsung as he’s slashed .406/.486/.563 over his last 10 games. Over his last eight games, he has five multi-hit outings. His match-up against Shi Hwan Jang is a doozy as left-handed batters are hitting a cool .351 with three homers against him.
SS/3BJeong ChoiSKH. Kwan (L)$5,1008.37
It’s hard to argue with what Choi is doing at the dish right now and not wanting to buy stock in him, even at 5.1K. Choi has blasted five homers over his last seven games and is also riding an eight-game hitting streak. Choi gets the split advantage against a pitcher that has allowed four homers -- all against right-handed hitters.
3BKyoung Min HurDOOJ. Park (R)$2,2007.8
Hur returned from his injured list stint and went 1-for-5 with a run scored in his debut. Hur has been one of the more reliable plays at 3B this season considering his price, the lineup he hits in and the lack of depth at the position. That doesn’t change considering he’s just 2.2K. He does have some power and stolen base upside to boot.
OFKun Woo ParkDOOJ. Park (R)$3,5008.57
I mean he continues to hit. He had three hits on Tuesday and is now slashing .436/.467/.692 over his last 10 contests. Park is still only 3.5K despite how hot he’s been at the dish and gets to maximize his opportunity batting at the top of Doosan’s offense.
OFMyung Gi LeeNCDC. Bell (L)$2,2007.42
We’re getting a really good value here on a guy scorching hot at the plate. Lee also happens to play for the league’s best team so it’s rare we do see a value such as this. He has hits in 9-of-10 games and over those 10 games he’s batting a robust .459. He doesn’t hit for a ton of pop, but does have four stolen bases and 26 runs scored to make up for it.
OFAh Seop SonLOTM. Lee (R)$4,0009.1
We want the lefties in this spot and Son is the best option we have. He’s not overly exciting considering he has just two homers and one stolen base, but he scores a lot of runs (33) and drives in a bunch more (25). He also reaches base like a maniac posting a .436 OBP.
OFHae Min ParkSAMS. Jang (R)$2,9006.66
Although he hasn’t been playing everyday, Park has made the most out of his playing time homering in two straight games. He’s actually batting .333 with an OPS over 1.000 over his last 10 games and as a platoon guy has already belted four bombs and swiped four bags. If he gets a start tonight he’s an excellent value in a match-up we should be taking advantage of.
Team Stacks

Mini-StackKang Nam YooRoberto RamosJi Hwan Oh
I don’t love any full stack on this slate, but could get behind a two or three-man from LG here. The problem is the rain. There’s going to be a lot of it, so this game could not even play. Their match-up against Seung Ho Lee is ideal considering his 5.05 ERA and inability to strike people out (24 K’s in 41 IP). It’s only a 9.5 run total, which is why I don’t love the full stack, but righties especially are mashing against Lee belting five homers with a .287 AVG.

Mini-StackJae Hwan KimKun Woo ParkKyoung Min Hur
Jong Hoon Park, starter for SK, can be really good, but he has now allowed four earned runs or more in back-to-back games. Again, not a full-stack considering Park can shut lineups down, but mini stack based on guys priced fairly and playing well. The 10 O/U is the second highest on the slate and again, this is another contest with rain possibilities. And a lot of it.
