This is going to be an INTERESTING slate because we're unsure with how many games will actually play through.

We have TWO games at risk due to weather;

  • KIA @ KTW
  • SK @ LG

The slate locks at 5:30 so make sure we monitor the status of each one of those games.

Pitchers
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
SPDrew RucinskiNCDR. Alcantara (R)$10,200
These two teams put up a total of 20 runs in the opener of the series but this game feels different. The Dinos have their best pitcher on the mound as he’s thrown a shutout in two-of-three games. Rucinski has also struck out 7+ in three straight games, has 5 QS in six starts and has gone for 22+ DK points in three straight. He’s expensive, but it’s hard not to love him here.
SPEric JokischKIWJ. Baek (L)$9,700
The top pivot of the spend up’s is Jokisch. He draws a great match-up here against an offense ranking 8th in average and 7th in home runs. Jokisch has six straight quality starts to begin the year and has been dominant pitching to a 1.49 ERA and .94 WHIP. As much as I like Rucinski on this slate -- and every slate for that matter -- Jokisch is the better cash play in this spot.
SPAaron BrooksKIAM. Kim (R)$8,900
Brooks runs into a struggling KTW offense here. The Wiz have scored just five runs over their last three games and are riding a five game losing streak. Brooks has failed to post less than 11 DK points in any single start this year and in 4-of-6 he’s put up 18+. This is the perfect time to use Brooks with KTW struggling so much.
SPMin Ho LeeLGT. Kim (L)$5,800
As Lee progresses as a starter, he gets better with each outing. He’s only 18 but is showing so much poise. He’s now only allowed 2 ER over 12.2 IP since taking over a rotation spot and even struck out seven opponents his last time out. He’s put up 17+ DK points in back-to-back starts and is a -146 favorite at home here.
Hitters
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
CEui Ji YangNCDR. Alcantara (R)$5,900
We’ve seen Yang’s upside on display a lot lately as he has twice in the last week driven in five runs in a game while homering as well. He has been driving in a TON of runs lately, 16 over his last 10 to be exact. Raul Alcantara allows both RHH and LHH to hit over .300. He could be in trouble here.
CDong Won ParkKIWJ. Baek (L)$4,700
Four catchers make the playbook but they’re all in good spots. Park is hitting .433 over his last 10 games, has a 1.067 OPS on the year and has already driven in 28 runs in this year. He has the split advantage, hits in the middle of the order on the best stack of the day. Cash, tournaments, whichever format you’d like to deploy him in.
CKang Nam YooLGT. Kim (L)$3,700
The KBO has a lot of really good hitting catchers. Yoo is one of them, especially of late. Just over his last 10 games, he’s slashing .455/.471/.727 while belting two bombs and driving in 11 runs. Yoo has the split advantage in this match-up and is a great mid tier option at catcher.
CJoon Tae KimLOTM. Kim (R)$2,200
Kim has never really been an elite hitting catcher by any stretch but he’s been very solid lately hitting in 3-of-4 while batting .300 over his last 10 games. Kim kind of stinks against left-handed batters as they’ve hit four home runs and are batting .306. He’s super cheap and fits in all formats as long as he’s in the lineup.
1B/OFHyung Woo ChoiKIAM. Kim (R)$5,700
Choi is riding a 10-game hitting streak in which he’s slashing .382/.463/.765 with four bombs and seven RBI. He’s crushing RHP this year hitting .338 with four bombs and Kim has sucked against LHH, so this is a crush spot. One of the top spend up’s of the slate.
1B/OFJin Sung KangNCDR. Alcantara (R)$4,000
I mean, what does someone have to do in order to get some pricing respect? He LEADS the KBO in batting at .458 while casually posting a 1.329 OPS w/ 7 HR and 29 RBI. He’s put up double-figure DK points in four straight and is batting .500 against RHP this season.
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
1BRoberto RamosLGT. Kim (L)$4,700
We’re finding out really fast that Ramos isn’t only a power hitter. Just over the last 10 games he’s hit .424, which has helped him boost his season long mark to .375. He also happens to be the league leader in homers so that’s on the table every time he steps into the box.
2B/SSJin Hyuk NoNCDR. Alcantara (R)$3,500
The pace No is at in terms of home runs is something we’re not accustomed to seeing. He’s already hit 5 and his career high is 13. His average is the highest of his career as is his OBP. He has had some batted ball luck this season but while the ball continues to find the holes, play No.
1B/2BKeon Chang SeoKIWJ. Baek (L)$3,800
The lefty/lefty match-up does not scare me at ALL in this spot. Baek has an ERA of 10+ and the handedness is batting .450 against him. Seo has done everything from the top of the lineup belting four home runs and stealing seven bags already this season. The Kiwoom leadoff man is more than viable here.
2B/3BByung Woo JeonKIWJ. Baek (L)$2,300
I mean, everyone is hitting against Jung Baek right now. Jeon is SO cheap, multi-position eligible and has an OPS north of 1.000 over his last 10 games. He’s actually only play eight games since returning from injury and he’s hit in seven.
2B/3BSi Hwan NohHANK. Noh (R)$3,200
Although he's only played 20 games, Noh has already belted three home runs which is second on the team. He also leads in ISO (.215) and is in a good spot. It's hard to trust a lot of Hanwha players because of their 15 game losing streak, but considering the price and lack of depth at the position it's a strong option.
SSHa Seong KimKIWJ. Baek (L)$6,200
Kiwoom is the premier stack of the day and Kim might just be the best spend up. Kim’s ability to hit for power and steal bases is unlike many in this league. He’s flashed both lately hitting two homers and stealing two bags over his last 10 games while hitting a cool .375.
OFAh Seop SonLOTM. Kim (R)$3,500
We want to attack Kim with left-handed batters and Son is the best on the team. Son has been so consistent this season batting .327 while hitting .333 over his last 10 games. He’s been an OBP monster notching a .433 OBP. He’s hitting .351 against RHP this season.
OFJared HoyingHANK. Noh (R)$4,900
Hoying is still struggling overall, but the power stroke is coming as he’s belted three bombs over his last six games. Noh is allowing 1.4 HR/9 IP and has allowed three bombs to LHH already this season. He has allowed LHH to bat .339 this season as well, so lefties have his number. Good chance Hoying continues hitting on Wednesday.
OFPreston TuckerKIAM. Kim (R)$5,800
Look, this is a dream match-up for Tucker and KIA so hopefully the rain stays away. Tucker has blasted eight bombs already this season and has driven in 31 runs, which are near the league lead in both cases. Min Kim has allowed all four HR to LHH while allowing them to bat .345. This isn’t hard. If this game plays, KIA is as good as it comes.
OFAaron AltherrNCDR. Alcantara (R)$4,600
We’ve spent all season long spending above 5K for Altherr and he sucked. Now that he’s rollin’, he’s under 5K and more than reasonably priced. Just over his last five games he’s hit three homers, scored nine runs and has driven in 11 more. ELITE output at a depressed price tag from what we’ve seen all year long.

We should be slightly worried about the weather here, but if the game plays with no issues, KIA is in an elite spot. KIA draws a 21-year old Min Kim who has pitched to a 7.83 ERA through five starts this season. He's allowed 1.6 HR/9 thus far and it isn't like he's been unlucky considering his FIP matches his ERA this year. I like the left-handed swingers more here, but the righties will be more than fine as well.
