Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears

Total: 45.5

CHI -2.5

Gameplay Predictions

  • Dalvin Cook had over 100 yard total yards in his first game back from injury but the Bears have allowed the 2nd fewest rushing yards in the league and have yet to allow a rushing touchdown.

  • Kirk Cousins has thrown for two or fewer touchdowns in five straight weeks. In only two of those weeks has he thrown for over 300 yards.

  • Adam Thielen has scored in six straight weeks and has done so seven of his last eight.

  • Stefon Diggs has received double-digit targets in six of the last seven games.

  • Kyle Rudolph has gone six straight games in which he hasn’t scored a touchdown.

  • Mitchell Trubisky has thrown 17 touchdowns over his last six games.

  • Trubisky has four 300-plus yard games over those aforementioned six.

  • Jordan Howard has scored four touchdowns over his last four games. Tarik Cohen has scored four over his last five.

  • Allen Robinson has scored four times over his last four games, including two in Week 10 against the Lions.

  • The Bears have won three games in a row and currently lead the NFC North. Minnesota has won four of his last five.

Pregame Props

1) The last non-kneeling, offensive play of the 1st Quarter is a passing play (We'll leave this open until the 2:00 mark) YES 2.5 / NO 2.5

NO. Minnesota has been a pass first team for the entire year, ranking 29th in rushing attempts while Chicago ranks 11th in rushing attempts. This seemingly is going to be a slow, rush first type of game with the cold weather factoring in. I’m going with a RUN here.

2) A. Thielen (MIN) and A. Robinson (CHI) combine to record 4 or more receptions in the 1st Quarter YES 1.9 / NO 3.6

YES. Thielen might do this by himself. It’s a safe bet that the two best receivers from each team has two each in the first quarter.

3) Either team scores 11 or more points in the 1st Quarter YES 4.2 / NO 1.5

NO. The total does not imply that this will happen at all. Again, it’s going to be a game played in cold weather, so it’s hard to trust a lot of offense here. Plus, both teams have plus defenses, so there isn’t a lot going on in terms of offense here.

4) The first offensive play of the 1st Quarter is a running play YES 2.2 / NO 2.6

Both teams will look to establish the run early here. Going YES.

5) MIN converts a 3rd Down on their opening drive YES 3.3 / NO 2.3

YES. Taking a shot here and going YES although WinView believes it’ll be no. Minnesota ranks 16th in third-down conversion percentage on the year.

6) M. Trubisky (CHI) completes a pass of 15 or more yards on the CHI opening drive YES 2.6 / NO 2.3

Chicago throws passes the ninth furthest through the air at 8.6 yards. I know I’ve been harping on cold weather here, but I doubt the Bears change their game plan because of it. I’m going YES.
