New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers

Total: 44.5

San Francisco -3

Gameplay Predictions

  • The 49ers are tied for the 11th most receptions allowed to opposing running backs. Saquon Barkley has the second most receptions in football out of all running backs in the league.

  • The 49ers have allowed the 16th most passing yards in the NFL while the Giants have allowed the second fewest passing yards.

  • Odell Beckham Jr. has had at least eight catches and 100 yards receiving in three of the team’s last four games.

  • George Kittle ’s 692 yards ranks him third only behind Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz amongst all tight ends. He ranks 16th in the entire league in yards, ahead of guys like Antonio Brown , A.J. Green and Keenan Allen .

  • Both the Giants and 49ers have allowed seven rushing touchdowns this season.

  • Matt Breida , despite all of his injuries and recent struggles, is averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

  • Marquise Goodwin has caught three touchdowns over his past four games.

  • Nick Mullens will look to build on his 151.9 QB rating he notched in his first career game last week against the Raiders.

Pregame Props

1) The last non-kneeling, offensive play of the 1st Quarter is a passing play (we'll leave this open until the 2:00 mark YES 2.5 / NO 2.5

YES. Eli Manning has thrown the ball 36 times or more in five straight games and the 49ers have seemingly found a diamond in the rough in Nick Mullens . I’m going yes here due to how ariel this game could become.

2) Either team passes for a TD in the 1st Quarter YES 4 / NO 1.8

NO. The Giants have allowed the second fewest passing touchdowns in the league while the 49ers rank 11th in that category. Thing about it is Eli Manning hasn’t thrown more than one touchdown in an entire game over his last three outings.

3) N. Mullens (SF) passes for more total yards than E. Manning (NYG) in the 1st Quarter YES 2.9 / NO 2.1

NO. I’m going to go with no because although Mullins had a great first game, Eli Manning has still thrown for north of 281 yards in four straight games.

4) The first offensive play of the 1st Quarter gains 7 or more yards YES 3.8 / NO 1.9

NO. These are not the two offenses that are going to stretch the field very often. Both offenses, mainly the Giants, are very passive.

5) G. Kittle (SF) records a reception on SF opening drive YES 3 / NO 2

YES. Kittle is an intricate part of the 49ers offense. He leads in receptions, targets and yards, so I’m going YES here.

6) S. Barkley (NYG) rushes for 15 or more total yards on NYG opening drive YES 2.8 / NO 2.2

NO. Barkley has been a very productive player this season, but it partially has to do with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. It wouldn’t shock me if he were under 15 yards rushing but over 15 receiving on the opening drive.
