Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Tyler Anderson
Although Anderson has been good this season, he’s still pitching at home and that’s something we should always look to exploit. He’s actually been very bad against left-handed hitters this year allowing a .367 wOBA. Righties haven’t had much success to be honest, but they have belted 15 homers.
One right-handed hitter that has had a ton of success against Anderson is Justin Turner . Turner is 11-for-21 with a homer off of Anderson in his career. Turner has at least one hit in three straight games and five of his last six overall. Other than Turner, Manny Machado , Matt Kemp and Max Muncy represent the Dodgers best hitters against southpaws this season. Machado has a .217 ISO and .368 wOBA, Kemp sits at a .923 OPS and .386 wOBA while Muncy has a .562 SLG and an impressive .409 wOBA all versus left-handers.
Cody Bellinger hasn’t been great lately or against lefties, but he’s 3-for-7 with a homer off of Anderson. Bellinger has been better at the dish recently posting three multi-hit games over his last six outings while recording a hit in five of the six. Kiké Hernández and Brian Dozier are two players that have also posted seasons of .900 OPS plus in the past and both are firmly in play here.

New York Yankees vs. Ariel Jurado
The Yankees currently have the highest implied total of the slate and face a guy with 15.2 innings of Major League experience. Jurado hasn’t been bad since coming up, but he doesn’t seem to miss ANY bats. He has a 4.02 K/9 so far this season after posting a slightly better mark of 5.13 at Triple-A earlier in the year.
Giancarlo Stanton comes into this one homering in two straight and has now driven in 10 runs over just last 10 games. He’s easily the top play from the Yankees as he could make it a third straight game with a homer here.
Miguel Andujar , Gleyber Torres , Didi Gregorius and Aaron Hicks have all dominated at home this year. Each one of them have a wOBA of .360 or better at home and as a matter of fact, each of them have wOBA’s better than .350 versus right-handed pitching this season. If you can’t afford Stanton, using all four of these guys is a great alternative stack.
I’m perfectly fine with both Greg Bird and Neil Walker as value plays for this stack as well. Walker has slowed down after ending July scorching hot and Bird has had some bad luck lately having a home run robbed, but he’s always been better against right-handed pitching.

San Francisco Giants vs. Iván Nova
This is more of a contrarian play because the Giants offense aren’t very intimidating and using them at their home park isn’t always very profitable but I like the play here. Iván Nova hasn’t been great by any means lately. He allowed eight hits and four runs over just four innings of work. He hasn’t been great versus either side of the dish, but especially versus lefties allowing them to hit .298 with a .375 wOBA. Righties have pretty solid marks of .263 and .331 respectively.
When starting this San Francisco stack, Brandon Crawford is someone we want to use. He has three hits over his last two games including two for extra bases. Crawford is 5-for-11 off of Nova, is hitting .294 at home, and has hit a respectable .278 against right-handers. Evan Longoria (.326), Andrew McCutchen (.324) and Buster Posey (.368) are all hitting better than .300 over the last 10 games. All three veterans are really solid plays in this spot.
Two interesting lefties that probably go overlooked here are Joe Panik and Alen Hanson . Both guys have the platoon advantage against Nova who has struggled so mightily against lefties as I’ve mentioned. Hanson is hitting .292 with a .365 wOBA against right-handers while Panik has a respectable .274 mark. Both are nice salary cap savers as well.
