Top Tier

Aaron Judge, OF NYY

This is a great spot for the Yankees to do some serious damage and Judge is primed to be in the center of it all. He’s had a monster year against right-handed pitching, batting .286 with 24 HR and a .381 wOBA. Where Eli Morgan, Indians starter has struggled this year, has been against right-handed hurlers. They’re batting .279 with an .870 OPS and .367 wOBA against him.

Salvador Perez, C KC

I mean, who says no to rostering THIS version of Salvador Perez? His match-up with Logan Gilbert is a good one, too. Gilbert struggles more with right-handed hitters than he does with lefties. Righties not only have an .800 OPS, but a .337 wOBA, 1.82 HR/9 and have a flyball rate over 50% against him. That bodes well for Perez who lifts the ball nearly 38% of the time against RHP. He has a .240 ISO and 43% hard-hit rate against RHP as well.

Mid Tier

Xander Bogaerts, SS BOS

I talked about in my Player Props piece over on Wager Alarm today, but I love Bogarts and the spot he’s in. He’s been locked in against southpaws this year, hitting .295 with a .367 wOBA. He’s also been locked in at home, posting team high marks of a .326 AVG and .405 wOBA. His match-up against Alex Wells is great as Wells continues to get shelled seemingly every time he heads to the hill. Righties have been his downfall as they’re batting .369 with a 1.100 OPS and .462 OPS against them. I suspect the Red Sox are quite chalky on this slate and you should be deploying Bogaerts in both cash and GPP’s.

Tyler O'Neill, OF STL

O’Neill is rolling right now, belting homers in three of four and hitting five over his last 10 games. Over those same 10 games, his slash is .308/.357/.718 and has hit in seven straight games. O’Neill has done a LOT of his damage against right-handed pitching, notching a .278 AVG, 23 HR and a .365 wOBA. His counterpart in Jake Arrieta just gets hit hard whoever he’s pitching against. Righties are batting .321 with a .990 OPS and .395 wOBA against him. O’Neill is someone I’m deploying with confidence on Sunday’s slate.

Value Tier

Ian Happ, OF CHC

What isn’t Happ doing right now? He homered AND stole a base on Saturday and has now hit four bombs, swiped two bases, scored eight runs and driven in eight more all over the last 10 games. It’s been a tale of two halves for Happ as he hit .183 before the break and .272 since. He’s also notched a .554 SLG%, .893 OPS and .377 wOBA since the break as well. Hard to ignore him at this price point.

Bobby Dalbec, 1B BOS

Shocker, another Red Sox. Dalbec and the rest of the Sox are in a GREAT spot today. Dalbec has homered five times over his last 10 games, while notching nine extra-base hits, eight runs scored and 12 RBI. What’s not to like? I’ll tell you something MORE to like is Dalbec’s .292 AVG, nine homers and .373 wOBA against southpaws this year. Righties have KILLED Alex Wells all year long and today that will continue.
