I know we have a seven-game early slate, but we’re focusing solely on the main slate locking at 7:05 ET with today’s value vault.

Both Sites

Austin Riley , ATL 3B (DK - $3,200 / FD - $2,400)

The Braves 3B has been in a little groove at the dish, notching hits in four straight games with homers in each of his last two games. He draws an elite match-up against Madison Bumgarner who’s allowed an OPS of 1.000 to RHH. Riley owns a .553 SLG, .876 OPS and .307 ISO for his career against left-handed pitching. We’ve had two years to see how streaky this kid is, so get him in while he’s rollin’.

DraftKings

Pablo López , MIA SP ($6,900)

The Giants offense hasn’t been bad, but they’ve hit lefties better than they have righties. They’re 18th in OPS as a team but they have a 24% K-rate against righties this year. Lopez has struck out six or more times in three starts including nine punch outs… against the Giants. He currently has a career-high 27.5% K-rate and is generating over an 11% swinging strike rate. Lopez being this price is a big whiff by DK.

A.J. Pollock, LAD OF ($3,100)

It hasn’t been the best start to his 2021 campaign, but Pollock rakes against southpaws. Back in 2019, he hit .323 and notched a .375 wOBA and then followed that up in ‘20 posting a 1.185 OPS, .473 ISO and .468 wOBA against them. That’s about as elite as it gets. Blake Snell is on the hill for San Diego, but he’s hittable from the right side of the dish. Righties have notched an .800 OPS and .348 wOBA against him. He’s worth a shot in a GPP.

FanDuel

Yoán Moncada , CWS 3B ($2,900)

Moncada extended his hitting streak to four games on Friday going 3-of-4 with a homer and three runs batted in. He’s now hit in six-of-seven overall and has a great match-up and a serious discount. Moncada is making A LOT of hard contact this year, posting a 37.2% clip, similar to his number in 2019, which was his breakout campaign.

Mike Yastrzemski , SF OF ($2,800)

The San Francisco star has started to turn it up at the dish lately homering on Friday and hitting in five-of-six games. Although he’s struggled altogether, he’s hitting for power against right-handed pitching. He’s slugged .521 with a .282 ISO and .350 wOBA against RHP’s and Pablo López , Marlins starter, has allowed a .353 wOBA to LHH’s and a 46.4% hard-hit rate to boot. Yaz had a .952 OPS and .402 wOBA against RHP’s last year as well.
