Welcome to the DFS Watch List for NFL Week 14!
It was another rock-solid week of DFS NFL coverage from the Fantasy Alarm crew. We saw a lot of green and if you checked in on the Example Lineups and used them as a sounding board, you probably did very well. In fact, what was really interesting, and a lesson learned here as well, was that my cash lineups beat the snot out of my GPP ones. I used guys like Aaron Rodgers , Dalvin Cook , Davante Adams and, of course, Darren Waller , so those were some big points. Unfortunately, I didn't play any of my cash lineups in any GPP contests and that was a bummer as I would have been a few thousand dollars richer had I done that. If you feel good about your cash lineups and you have the discretionary funds, you should throw them into a GPP as well. Yes, there are a lot of high-owned players in the lineup, but you also never know. Your high-floor choices in cash may not be used as much as you think, as evidenced by Waller's low-owned percentages.
So what exactly did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path, regardless of overall results.
Scoring The Playbook Week 13
Huge Value across the board highlights the Playbook & Dart Board for Week 13.
Consistent high scoring players including David Carr, David Montgomery , Davante Adams , Keke Coutee and Darren Waller . The Dart Board had two bullseyes with Henry Ruggs & Collin Johnson.
Here are some other highlights:
- Every position averaged more than 2X Value and the average Value of all players in the Playbook was 2.8.
- All seven quarterbacks returned 2X+ Value and averaged 3.5X Value.
- Five of the eight tight ends in the Playbook had more than 3X Value.
- Eight of the thirteen wide receivers returned more than 2X Value.
- Three of the six defensive teams in the Playbook had more than 3X Value with an average value of 2.6X.
- The high score that could be made using only the Playbook & Dart Board players was an amazing 248.3 DraftKings points

Now, obviously, hindsight is 20-20 and hitting the nuts off the Playbook and Dart Board is still tough to do given the number of possible permutations, but what it shows is that the work is being done to give ytou the best possible chances to win. And it's more than just going to the Lineup Generator, clicking Playbook & Dart Board Only and generating lineups. You have to study the match-ups, read the content and build around your favorites after the research is done. We whittle down the player pool for you, but you still need to prefect your lineup construction methods and select the right contests.
