NFL DFS Watch List: Week 12
**UPDATED FRIDAY** Howard Bender starts the NFL DFS Playbook research off each week with a watch list of players he is considering for use in daily fantasy lineups.
Welcome to the DFS Watch List for NFL Week 12!
Happy Thanksgiving week to you all! Time to bust out the bib, the elastic waistband pants and park yourselves in front of the TV all day long Thursday for some turkey and football! The Watch List will be business as usual this week and then the Friday update will remove any Thursday players and add new ones to look at for the weekend. You will get a separate Playbook for the Thursday games which will be published Wednesday and then you will get another Playbook at the usual time Saturday for the weekend games. As you also may have noticed on the site, the Fantasy Alarm team is hard at work to deliver the rest of the weekly content, both seasonal and DFS, before the games start Thursday so you are full prepared for each slate. If you have any quetions about coverage, just hit me up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Something to DEFINITELY pay attentiopn ti this week -- the Steelers/Ravens game is definitely in danger of being pushed to Sunday or Monday, given the rash of COVID-19 cases the Ravens are reporting. As of right now, the game will play as scheduled, but you need to stay on top of the situation. As always, we have a COVID-19 Update Blog here on the site to get you the latest information.
So what exactly did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path, regardless of overall results.
Scoring The Playbook Week 11
Another great week with top players at every position. The average value for all players in the Playbook was 2.62. Here are some more highlights:
- The Playbook crushed quarterbacks with Watson, Herbert, and Taysom Hill . The average points were more than 20 with an average Value of 3.35
- The wide receivers you needed were in there with the top two on the slate in Adam Thielen (35.3) and Keenan Allen (38.5) plus the money saver Dionte Johnson delivered 26 points
- Tight Ends are super tough to get right. The Playbook had more than a 2.8 Value for the position and nailed Goedert, Andrews and Ebron.
- Denzel Mims got 3X Value in the dart board as a big money saver at just $3300 salary
|D/ST||Washington Football Team||$2,900||12.0|
Now, obviously, hindsight is 20-20 and hitting the nuts off the Playbook and Dart Board is still tough to do given the number of possible permutations, but what it shows is that the work is being done to give ytou the best possible chances to win. And it's more than just going to the Lineup Generator, clicking Playbook & Dart Board Only and generating lineups. You have to study the match-ups, read the content and build around your favorites after the research is done. We whittle down the player pool for you, but you still need to prefect your lineup construction methods and select the right contests.
If you are one of our new subscribers, welcome! Love seeing the #FAmily grow. As just and FYI -- This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.
With that all being said, it's time to check in and see which players we are looking at for DFS this week.
