(-135) LGD v OMG (+105)

(+550) Victory Five v TOP Esports (-1000)

LGD shocked the LPL with a big win over top of table force in Rare Atom on Monday morning. Teams near the top of the table don’t have the liberty to drop games at this point and when we look at today the V5 and TES we see two teams that are fighting for their spot in the Spring playoffs.

Game #1: LGD v OMG

Cann’s Pick:LGD

Game #2: Victory Five v TOP Esports

Cann’s Pick: TOP Esports

Captain

Favorite: JackeyLove (TES: $11,700) This is your kill leader on the slate with 143. He is aggressive in lane and will make life miserable for the V5 bot lane. To make matters worse for V5, TES’ strength is their biggest weakness with them having gone through two different supports and 3 different bot laners. Look for JackeyLove to continue his laning dominance and be a point of focus for TES.

Value Pick: Wuming (OMG: $10,500)

Top Lane

Favorite: 369 (TES: $6,600) Only V5’s jungler and mid laner have more kills than 369 who has undergone a bit of a transformation at this point. At the beginning of the split he was a liability with his struggles to catch up to the meta. Now he is more aggressive in lane and playing the picks like the Jayce, Camille, and Gnar. V5 has struggled at times in the top lane (as seen by the fact that they have had three total people play in that role this year) and I think 369 continues his recent success here.

Value Pick: Cult (LGD: $6,200)

Jungle

Favorite: Karsa (TES: $7,000) This is more of a pick based on the team rather than the specific player, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a solid pickup. He has about 9 kills less than Weiwei but also has almost 30 less deaths. Karsa isn’t the splashiest of junglers and many times he isn’t the reason his lanes are winning but the key to Karsa is he doesn’t mess it up. While Weiwei is a scary jungler to go against, he tends to prey on really poor rotations or gaps in vision. TES really don’t struggle with either of these things.

Value Pick: Weiwei (V5: $6,200)

Mid Lane

Favorite: Knight (TES: $7,600) Knight has the highest KDA by far among the mids in this matchup (6.7) while pulling down 112 kills and 177 assists. He claims almost 26% of all of TES’ kills. The V5 mid laner (Mole) is very scary and most times I try to avoid playing against him but Knight is one of my only exception. He is part of 30% of TES’ first blood kills and is the core of their early game play.

Value Pick: Mole (V5: $6,600)

ADC

Favorite: Eric (OMG: $7,200) Behind the clear favorite ADC pick in JackeyLove, Eric is the next highest performing player. He is the core of OMG’s damage and I honestly thought he would have a better split. He has 101 kills and 113 assists which is about 40 more in each category compared to his lane opponent (Kramer). He is 33% of OMG’s kills with only 90 deaths. In all  honestly OMG could steal this series.

Value Pick: y4 (V5: $6,800)

Support

Favorite: Zhuo (TES: $5,800) The man supports JackeyLove. That should be not only the beginning but the end of the breakdown. He has the highest KDA on the slate with 4.8 and 263 assists. Zhuo will move throughout the map with Karsa and make moves while leaving JackeyLove in lane once they get a lead in the 2v2.

Value Pick: ppgod (V5: $4,800)

Team

Favorite: TOP Esports ($5,600) With a team KD ratio of 1.52 and a gold differential at 15 minutes of +2076. I said it about Rare Atom for Monday’s matches and I guess I could be proved wrong but I think this could be a very fast 2-0 on Tuesday morning. They lock down the first three turrets in 91% of their matches. Sign me up for this pick.

Value Pick: OMG ($4,800)
