(+220) Team Dignitas v Cloud9 (-300)

(+115) Flyquest v Immortals (-150)

(-130) Team Liquid v Evil Geniuses (EVEN)

The first day of the final weekend of games proved to be electric with teams looking like they are closer to a championship form than ever before. TSM, EG, and TL all look like formidable foes while 100 Thieves and Cloud9 struggled to start their weekend off on the right foot. The Golden Guardians now control their own playoff destiny while Flyquest needs to win out and GG to drop their last two games. More key matchups on Saturday that will decide the playoff fates of these teams and a possible birth to the world championships.

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Perkz (C9: $12,000) There is no question that Perkz did not hit the LCS as hot as most people expected. Most thought he would set the LCS on fire and command the mid lane in almost every matchup. It has taken him some time since moving to LA to hit his stride. In his laste three weeks of play he has had under a 2.0 KDA in only twice with just as many performances with 10+ KDA. Team Dignitas is a sloppier team than most that are playoff bound and Cloud9 actually thrive against those types of teams. Perkz has a huge skill advantage over Yusui and it is very difficult to outdraft Perkz in the mid lane.

Value Pick: Insanity (IMT: $10,200)

Top Lane

Favorite: Huni (TSM: $7,000) I think like most LCS fans, it has been difficult for me to take TSM seriously as a top team. With their convincing wins over Cloud9, 100 Thieves, and Team Liquid over the past three weeks have shown what this team can truly do. HUni has quietly turned around some of his early low stat numbers with better performances. He has the fourth most kills with 69 and over 100 assists in the Summer Split. His Jayce play has defined what an LCS Jayce looks like and other teams have tried to follow suit and add the pick to their rotation.

Value Pick: Alphari (TL: $6,200)

Jungle

Favorite: Xerxe (IMT: $6,800) Xerxe remains the strongest player on Immortals and is almost single handedly responsible for their current standings in the LCS. He has the fourth most kills among junglers (69) and should crest 140 assists during his match on Saturday. While he struggled into TL on Friday, that is more representative of how strong that team is rather than the actual skill level of Xerxe. Flyquest tried to run Josedeodo in their starting lineup on Friday and he was a complete non-factor which makes me even more comfortable with picking up Xerxe here.

Value Pick: Santorin (TL: $6,000)

Mid Lane

Favorite: PowerOfEvil (TSM: $7,200) It appears like TSM is done messing with POE’ champion pool. His strongest performances this split are on control mages that have gold and farm funneled onto him. He facing CLG’s Damonte who does not play assassins who punish POE’s champion pool. What does this mean for you? POE will be able to safely farm the early game and pick up massive leads in the mid to late game through the trademark massive teamfights.

Value Pick: Ablazeolive (GG: $5,800)

ADC

Favorite: Tactical (TL: $7,000) There is a lot of value to be found with the TL players today. Due to the fact that EG is above them in the standings, TL players have been heavily discounted. This is a great opportunity for DFS players who watched the impact of Santorin rejoining the lineup. Tactical and CoreJJ had such a massive lead in the early game that IMT’s bot lane were never in a position to influence the game. Tactical is still one of the best ADCs in the league and he and CoreJJ will be able to test the rookie ADC in Danny on Saturday.

Value Pick: Stixxay (GG: $6,200)

Support

Favorite: Destiny (IMT: $5,600) Destiny is really good at starting fights for Immortals. He is very prime to die after he initiates but if his team is in a position to follow up, it normally doesn’t matter. In their loss to TL on Friday, Destiny had a few amazing hooks and fight initiations but because Raes was so far behind, it didn’t matter. Immortals are facing the much weaker Flyquest who are currently on a 6 game losing streak at the moment. I fully expect a big bounce back game from this squad and Destiny and Raes to have a better showing.

Value Pick: Aphromoo (DIG: $4,800)

Team

Favorite: Team Solomid ($6,000)  Team Solomid has the best Mid-late game rating in the LCS right now and on Saturday they are playing the statistically worst team in the LCS in CLG. They have almost a 70% Baron control rate and TSM pulls in 57% of all dragons which translates to huge points for your lineup. Look for TSM to put a heavy focus on neutral objectives and to use those objectives to gain huge leads in the late game.

Value Pick: Immortals ($5,400)
