Top Guards
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Jalen SuggsGONZSTMRY860032.03800029.78
With Gonzaga on the slate and projected to be the highest-scoring team, expect the big three of Timme, Kispert and Suggs to be popular in all formats. Suggs is appropriately the most expensive guard in action tonight as he has the potential to go for 35-40 DK points in any given game with how efficient and fast-paced the Zags’ offense usually is. The matchup vs. Saint Mary’s isn’t a scary one at all and Suggs will easily be the most athletic and talented guard from either side - which is always the case in Gonzaga’s conference games. The only question is whether Suggs will return enough DFS value to pay off the high price tag as he shares the offensive load with Timme and Kispert. The ceiling is always there, but don’t be surprised if he fails to go 4x.
Johnny JuzangUCLAAZ810024.47660022.56
Juzang has been up-and-down all season, but he’s on a tear right now and has an all-time high DFS salary (at least on DK). He’s put up 37 or more DK points in four of the last five games with a notable uptick in shot volume and offensive usage in the UCLA attack. It’s no coincidence that this impressive stretch of scoring and all-around production has come with Jalen Hill being out due to personal reasons. Although Hill didn’t have a large role when he was active, it’s important to know that Juzang is absolutely going off with his teammate out. We should expect him to see a big workload yet again in a pace-boost matchup. He’s a much better value on FD with the savings.
Chris DuarteOREUC740033.61
On the DK slate, this Colorado-Oregon game will be one of the better matchups overall tonight. Duarte is back running the Ducks’ offense now that he’s healthy again - and he’s the best floor/ceiling combo play in this game with his heavy usage and all-around stat production. He’s gone for 41 and 30 DK points, respectively, in two games since hurting his ankle and had at least 44 DK in each of the three games prior to the injury. Duarte has even taken on a bigger offensive workload with Eric Williams Jr. out and dealing with a knee injury. The Oregon point guard is still too cheap for this 40+ DK upside.
Franz WagnerMICHRU710030.35780028.75
With so many studs to choose from tonight, Michigan’s top players may go slightly overlooked - but they all have the upside to break the slate. Isaiah Livers and Hunter Dickinson are both in play, but Franz Wagner is the best per-dollar option for tournaments with this floor/ceiling combination that could result in 40+ DK points in any given game. Wagner is averaging 32.6 DK points over the last ten games with his stat-stuffing ability as a point-forward for the Wolverines. He “only” had 21 DK last time out as Michigan returned from a COVID pause - and that’s likely why he’s so much cheaper on DraftKings compared to his normal 8k price range. Take advantage of the discount while you can!
D'Mitrik TriceWISCIOWA700025.9660024.04
One of the highest-scoring games tonight is this Wisconsin matchup and we should target the Badgers in a soft matchup vs. Iowa’s porous defense. Trice went cold a couple weeks ago and was very hard to trust for DFS - but he’s bounced back lately and again looks like the talented combo guard we’re used to seeing. The senior put up 34, 29 and 29 DK points over the last three games and has seen a big increase in shot attempts and overall usage in the Wisconsin attack. In this fast-paced environment, Trice should continue the hot streak and be a great bargain in the high end of guards. His three-point shooting upside is what we love against an Iowa defense that’s terrible on the perimeter.

Mike SmithMICHRU500020.53470018.62
Smith is Michigan’s starting point guard and he continues to be a strong cash value if he’s priced in the 5k range. The senior maintains a steady DFS floor with his assists and just enough ancillary stats while consistently logging 30+ minutes. Smith put up 22 DK on Sunday in Michigan’s first game back from a COVID pause - which is a great sign for his DFS value moving forward as it tells us his point role isn’t changing any time soon. He should be back at the 20 DK point level or more tonight and is great for cash for the savings.
Brad DavisonWISCIOWA420018.72460017.27
We mentioned it earlier with Trice, but Iowa’s three-point defense is among the worst in the Big Ten and opposing teams continue to exploit that matchup. One shooter who could easily get hot tonight is Davison, who is the Badgers’ go-to deep ball threat when he’s making them. The senior is a bit boom-or-bust for DFS purposes, but the good side of those performances would make him a big value at sub 5k. He’s put up 20+ DK points in three of the last five games and is a great GPP option tonight if he does that again.
Myles DreadPSUOSU390013.67420012.05
Dread started on Sunday for the first time all season - and he took full advantage of the increased role. The junior had arguably his best game of the year in his first start when he scored a season-high 14 points in 31 minutes and put up 20 DK points. He should continue to start considering the impressive outing and with Seth Lundy struggling lately. Dread doesn’t offer much in ancillary stats, but he’s hot from three-point range right now and could easily return 4x or 5x value at his cheap salaries tonight if he starts again.
Kerr KriisaAZUCLA390010.7539009.48
Kriisa finally made his Arizona debut in early February and he’s become more and more involved in the Wildcats’ rotation over his four games played. The freshman from Estonia has now started the last two games - moving Terrell Brown to the bench - and he’s seen increasing usage rate and shot volume with the role change. On Saturday, Kriisa had his best game of his young collegiate career when he scored 12 points and put up 22 DK in 23 minutes vs. Oregon. Most of his offense is coming from the three-point line - but that matches up well vs. a UCLA defense that allows the most perimeter scoring in the Pac-12. If he starts again, Kriisa is way too cheap and should be close to a cash lock.
Ian MartinezUTAHORST39008.82
Utah is dealing with a couple key absences as regular starters Mikael Jantunen and Rylan Jones have both been out recently. The Jones status, specifically, directly affects Martinez as a value play as his injury opens up more minutes in the backcourt. With Jones out the last two games, Martinez logged 19 minutes off the bench in both and put up 26 and 16 DK points with some impressive outings. The freshman’s playing time was sporadic before the Jones injury, but his DFS value is a lot safer for cash if he’s the direct backup point guard for Utah with his teammate out. If that’s the case again tonight, Martinez is way too cheap at sub 4k.

Luka GarzaIOWAWISC950042.51920040.07
It wasn’t too long ago when Luka Garza was a cash game lock if Iowa was on the slate. That’s no longer the case as the Hawkeye big man has put up less than 30 DK in two of the last three games and continues to struggle more on the road. At his expensive salaries, we’ll need a guarantee of 40-50 DK points from Garza like he used to regularly provide - but that’s just not a lock tonight in another away matchup. Still, the GPP upside is there as he showed last week vs. Rutgers when he went for 45 DK with a 20-point double-double. The inconsistency to return value at high price tags makes him only a tournament play tonight - especially with people likely rostering Drew Timme in cash instead.
Drew TimmeGONZSTMRY930034.21850032.45
Timme would be in a tier by himself on most DFS slates but the presence of Luka Garza tonight should take some ownership away. In cash games, though, Timme is the best expensive forward to lock in as he’s a focal part of the high-scoring Gonzaga offense and owns a higher floor than both Jalen Suggs and Corey Kispert right now. The rebounding and consistent post scoring will keep his floor safe - and his 40+ DK points with 20-point double-doubles in both of the last two games is evidence of that. Timme will have a big advantage on offense tonight vs. a Saint Mary’s defense that allows a large percentage of points inside. Expect him to be more popular than Garza in cash.
Joe WieskampIOWAWISC830029.26720026.90
At times this season, it was impossible to pay up for Wieskamp as he went through a cold stretch and took a notable backseat to Luka Garza in the Iowa offense. Lately, though, Wieskamp is on a tear with at least 35 DK in each of the last four games while averaging 20.5 PPG and 8.8 RPG over this span. He’s seen a big increase in usage and shot volume while defenses key on stopping Garza - and Wieskamp is taking advantage of that trend. Expect Wisconsin to try to do the same thing and force Wieskamp and others to beat them. If you want Iowa exposure but Garza is too expensive - going down to Wieskamp has been a winning strategy with more consistent play than his teammate.
Timmy AllenUTAHORST800032.09
Another DK only play here but one that we should not ignore on that slate. Timmy Allen doesn’t receive the same national attention like other DFS studs - likely because Utah isn’t that good - but he’s just as capable of dropping 40+ DK points on any given night. As the Utes’ offense revolves around his playmaking from the wing, Allen will provide 30-35 DK points on a regular basis with his high usage, heavy minutes, consistent shot volume and plenty of ancillary stats. He’ll have no problem doing that tonight against a bad Oregon State defense. Expect him to be lower-owned than he should - but he’s perfectly fine in cash or GPP.
E.J. LiddellOSUPSU730029.2700027.73
Even with Luka Garza and Drew Timme on the slate, the top cash game forward on a per-dollar basis might actually be Liddell tonight. The Buckeyes’ big man has put up at least 30 DK in five of the last six games as he’s dominating the paint against opposing Big Ten frontcourts. One of those outings came against Penn State in the first meeting when he went for 22 points scored, seven rebounds and 31 DK. We could easily see a repeat of that performance or better as PSU’s interior defense is the worst in the conference and continually get torched by opposing big men. Liddell is very affordable on both sites and should be popular in cash.

Justice SueingOSUPSU650022.8560020.94
While Liddell is the headliner for Ohio State right now, Sueing isn’t too far behind in terms of DFS value - and he’ll cost a bit less to roster. Sueing has put up 30+ DK points in four of the last five games and has double-digit rebounds in three of those outings. Like Liddell, he also had a big game vs. Penn State previously when he went for 41 DK with a double-double and seven blocks/steals. Expect Sueing and Liddell to dominate the poor interior defense of PSU yet again - and we should pencil in big performances from both tonight.
Evan BatteyUCORE540019.49
On the DK slate, most of the Colorado rotation is cheap enough to consider in any format - and Evan Battey is one to target if you’re in need of someone in this price range. His recent game logs aren’t too pretty, but the GPP upside is there for him to put up 25-30 DK points or more when he’s dominating in the paint. He did exactly that vs. Oregon in the first meeting when he put up 34 DK with a double-double against a Ducks’ frontcourt that’s struggled at times during conference play. Battey was one of those big men to give them trouble and he could easily bounce back to be a solid value tonight.
Justin GorhamHOUWICH  600023.36
Houston is one of the best teams in the country - but unfortunately we can only roster the Cougs on FD’s slate tonight. Even so, Justin Gorham could break that slate with another monster effort at just 6k. The senior center is a rebounding machine, averaging 10.1 boards per game this season and grabbing 12.2 per game over the last ten outings alone. His offensive rebounding, specifically, is at an elite level compared to the whole country - and he should feast on a Wichita State frontcourt that’s among the worst on the defensive glass. Gorham had a double-double and 29.5 FD points in the previous meeting - and he could easily replicate that or better tonight.
Aleem FordWISCIOWA470019440017.53
Considering how high-scoring this Wisconsin game should be and how bad the Iowa defense is - the Badgers have a number of value plays worth considering. In particular, Ford has 20-30 DK point upside if he ends up getting double-digit shot attempts as a featured part of the offense - something that’s been happening more often lately with Micah Potter and Nate Reuvers being too inconsistent. Ford’s athleticism and versatile scoring ability could be a big mismatch for this Hawkeye defense - and his three-point shooting has been better than expected during conference play. He’s a solid value as long as he remains under 5k.
Dan FotuSTMRYGONZ410016.32480014.95
It’s always tough pinpointing which opposing players can be successful against Gonzaga when those games appear on the slate. Tonight, Saint Mary’s has some clear value in the frontcourt despite the intimidating matchup. Dan Fotu and Kyle Bowen can both return 4x or 5x value at their respective salaries and choosing between the two may just depend on which site you’re on as they’re both cheaper than the other on separate sites. Fotu, specifically, went for 26 DK in the first matchup vs. the Zags when he led the Gaels in scoring with 15 points. He went cold in his latest game, but that’s kept him cheap enough tonight.

Other Forwards to Consider

  • Eugene Omoruyi - Oregon ($7,900 DK Only)
