Julian ChampagnieSTJNCRE910038.75790035.87
This St. John’s-Creighton matchup is definitely one to target tonight with a 160 total on a short slate that’s notably lower-scoring in other games. The best DFS floor/ceiling combo from both teams is Champagnie, and he might even be the best fantasy player in the Big East right now. Even on a team that plays a deep rotation with production usually spread out, Champagnie has been a consistent DFS stud this season with 34+ DK points in every game while often pushing 40 with stat-stuffing lines. He should be heavily involved on both ends tonight in a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup with Creighton - and his defense will be needed to slow down the Bluejays’ two studs in Denzel Mahoney and Marcus Zegarowski. The price tag may seem high but Champagnie’s been worth it - and he might be a cash game lock on such a short slate without many studs.
Marcus ZegarowskiCRESTJN740030.58730027.58
It’s really surprising to see Zegarowski priced down this much - and it may be the lowest we see him at all season. Against Marquette on Monday, the Creighton point guard “only” put up 20 DFS points and both sites responded by discounting him majorly to where he’s very affordable in all formats. This is a pace-boost matchup for Zegarowski and that should bode well for him to produce in all stat categories as the usage rate leader and top ball-handler for the Bluejays. He’s only a game removed from dropping 42 DK points vs. Nebraska and was consistently a top DFS target all of last season - so we know he’ll bounce back from a “down” outing last time out. This is simply too cheap for one of the best DFS point guards in the country and he’ll probably be heavily owned in cash games.
Mac McClungTTKU670025.07700023.74
Admittedly, it’s tough to project how well Texas Tech’s players will do from a DFS standpoint tonight because they’ve only faced one Power 5 program so far and run a deep rotation in general. However, McClung is firmly in play for GPP’s because he has the potential to smash value on any given night. The dynamic scorer had ceiling games left and right for Georgetown last year and although he’s in a different system where the scoring/offensive responsibility is more spread out - McClung still has the potential to score 20+ real points if he gets on a roll. This may be the matchup to do it - against a quicker-tempo Kansas team that got caught up in higher-scoring affairs with Gonzaga and Creighton earlier this season. McClung is worth a shot in tournaments for his upside as a pure bucket-getter in a marquee matchup on national TV.
D.J. CartonMARQSHU640024.89590022.64
If you haven’t jumped aboard the D.J. Carton train yet this season - this might be the last night to do so before his price tag creeps into the 7k range. After coming off the bench to begin the season, Carton now has a firm grasp on the starting point guard role - and he’s slowly emerged as the top offensive playmaker overall for Marquette right now. In the last three games vs. Power 5 programs, Carton has respectively put up 28, 30 and 39 DK points vs. Wisconsin, UCLA and Creighton. He’s seen an uptick in usage rate, show volume and pure point scoring as Marquette’s go-to scorer and distributor more often than not. He’s still too cheap on both sites and we should see another 30 DK points or so with his newfound role.

Rasheem DunnSTJNCRE440015.08570023.27
As mentioned earlier, we should try to get plenty of exposure to his St. John’s game - and one cheaper option is Dunn. The senior guard is frankly too cheap for how good he is and what his real DFS value can be. Dunn recently returned from a concussion and has played 15-20 minutes off the bench the last two games - but we should expect more playing time in the near future. This is a guy who started the majority of games in each of the past three seasons for St. John’s, and he’ll likely return to a starting role soon - maybe even tonight. Dunn is priced this low because he’s yet to crack 20 DK points in his three games this season, but that should change with more playing time coming.
Tyon Grant-FosterKUTT420012.68680011.55
Outside of a couple key pieces, the Kansas rotations have been a bit annoying to figure out on a game-to-game basis. When the Jayhawks want to go smaller, though, it’s usually Grant-Foster who sees a notable uptick in minutes and DFS production. They may need to go with small-ball lineups more often tonight against a Texas Tech team that pretty much doesn’t play anyone over 6-foot-7. This may force Bill Self to go with Grant-Foster’s versatility more so than a pure center like David McCormack. In games where Grant-Foster sees 15-20 minutes or more this year, he’s been a much better DFS option with contributions all over the stat sheet. It’s a GPP flier, though, because it’s never a guarantee how much he plays on this current Kansas squad. Note how much cheaper he is on DK as well.
Jamarius BurtonTTKU390013.5500012.16
Texas Tech is also a bit annoying for DFS because of how deep the bench is with no one getting more than 25 minutes consistently and having the 34th-most bench minutes in the country, per KenPom. That deep rotation, though, has opened the door for Burton to carve out a decent role off the bench to make him just valuable enough for DFS. The Wichita State transfer usually gets 20-25 reserve minutes per game and collects enough stats in each category to give him a solid floor even though he’s not heavily involved offensively. Burton can give you 15 or so DK points with upside for more - which is really good value at his DK price tag, where he’s more affordable than on FD for GPP’s.
Aaron EstradaORESFO30000410013.13
The NCAA’s ruling on Wednesday to allow D-I transfers to be immediately eligible for this season will have a direct impact on DFS in the coming days. Numerous transfers who’ve been sitting out - and are likely min-price - will be inserted directly into rotations and even starting rotations, in some cases. Estrada, a transfer from Saint Peter’s, is one of those players who should get minutes right away off of Oregon’s bench. With Will Richardson still out, the Ducks can use some guard depth behind starters Chris Duarte and Amauri Hardy - and Estrada could easily see 15-20 minutes tonight in a key backup role for both the point and shooting guard spots. The min-price on DK is obviously more attractive than his FD price - but he’s a GPP option on both sites until we get more clarity on his usage.

Other Guards to Consider:

Chris Duarte - Oregon ($8,000 DK / $7,400 FD)

Ochai Agbaji - Kansas ($6,900 DK / $6,300 FD)

Khalil Shabazz - San Francisco ($6,600 DK / $6,600 FD)

Mitch Ballock - Creighton ($6,500 DK / $6,100 FD)

Greg Williams Jr. - St. John’s ($6,200 DK / $6,700 FD)

LJ Figueroa - Oregon ($5,800 DK / $5,700 FD)

Myles Cale - Seton Hall ($4,900 DK / $4,900 FD)

Julian Rishwain - San Francisco ($4,100 DK / $4,600 FD)

Sandro MamukelashviliSHUMARQ830036.64770033.77
So who else played Mamukelashvili last time when he was just $7600 on DK? Well, you probably cashed if you did because he put up a slate-breaking 51 DK points in a dominating performance vs. St. John’s. Even with a slight price increase tonight, he’s still way too cheap and should be highly owned in cash games until he creeps back into the 9k range. With Myles Powell gone, the Seton Hall offense clearly runs through Sandro as the big man is a fantastic post scorer down low with three-point range (40% from deep) and decent ball-handling skills for 6-foot-11. Although Marquette has a decent frontcourt to match up with him, we should expect Mamukelashvili to put up 30-40 DK points or more with a safe DFS floor.
Denzel MahoneyCRESTJN780028.7680026.52
Creighton’s offense mostly runs through two main players - Marcus Zegarowski and Mahoney - and it’s the latter who’s turned into a DFS stud this season. Last year, Mahoney was a high-usage player off the bench in a super-sub role. It’s a different story this time around, though, as the senior has turned into an all-around scorer and focal point of Creighton’s attack with a 42% three-point mark, athletic finishing around the rim and high usage/shot rates alongside Zegarowski. It’s amazing to think he was just $4500 on DK last week - but three straight performances of 30+ DK points has now put him in the elite range. He’s in play in all formats o n this short slate and is even a bargain on FD.
Marcus Santos-SilvaTTKU620022.32630020.74
As mentioned earlier, this Texas Tech team runs a deep rotation and is pretty spread out with its DFS production game-to-game. It makes it tough to lock in any of their expensive players for cash games, but Santos-Silva is firmly in play for GPP’s. The VCU transfer is the team’s best rebounder and can be dominant as an inside scorer if he stays out of foul trouble. He could easily have one of those ceiling games tonight in a pace-up spot vs. Kansas where the game could be won inside with Tech playing smaller lineups and forcing the Jayhawks to go small as well. The elder Santos-Silva could have his way with Jalen Wilson in that area and put up 30 DK points before you know it.

Isaih MooreSTJNCRE540021.84570020.23
If you rostered Moore on Sunday when he dropped 50 DK points at only a $4400 DK price point - his inclusion in the playbook should not come as a surprise. Both sites have now increased his salaries after that slate-breaking performance of 26 points scored, 14 rebounds and two blocks vs. Georgetown. He’ll surely be more owned tonight than usual because of that game, but he’s still affordable in all formats. Moore owns a 24% usage rate and decent shot volume per game this season and he’s the best rebounder for St. John’s at 6-foot-10. He could easily reach double-digit boards in this matchup vs. a Creighton team that does not rebound well. He’s still a risky play, though, because he can have limited minutes if the Johnnies go small.
 ORESFO510022.85580021.74
Although he’s only playing 20 minutes per game so far, Dante is a beast whenever he’s on the court and his per-minute DFS production is enough for him to reach value. Even after two straight games of 31 DK points, he’s still affordable enough on both sites - and he could be in line for another big game tonight. He’ll face a San Francisco squad that isn’t good on the offensive boards - and Dante excels as a defensive rebounder when in the game. He’s coming off a double-double vs. Washington last time out, and that would be a big bargain performance at these salaries.
