TOP PLAYS

Tyrese Haliburton - Iowa State ($8,900)

If you want to lock in 33-40 DK points to begin your lineups tonight, Tyrese Haliburton is your guy to pay up for and relieve any worry about your stud returning value. The Iowa State point guard usually provides a safe DFS floor because of his high usage in the offense and his stat-stuffing tendencies every game. Haliburton has put up at least 33 DK points in five straight games and in eight of the last ten because he does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor to generate a solid floor of stats. Over the last ten outings, the sophomore is averaging a pretty even stat line of 13.6 points, 5.4 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game. He should have problem racking up the stats tonight at home against Kansas State and makes for a safe cash play despite the expensive price tag.

Tres Tinkle - Oregon State ($8,700)

Although Oregon State is just 3-7 in conference games and on the outside looking in right now for the NCAA Tournament, they have a DFS stud leading the charge in Tres Tinkle. The senior power forward does virtually everything on offense and defense for the Beavers as he leads the team during conference play in usage rate (28%), shots share (30%), rebounding (6.8 per game) and steals (two per game) and is second in assists to point guard Ethan Thompson. This high involvement in all stat categories routinely gives Tinkle a high DFS floor - even if Oregon State is among the bottom-feeders in the Pac-12. He hasn’t put up less than 31 DK points in over a month of games and he’s averaging 34.2 DK points over the last ten outings. Plus, Tinkle will not only benefit from playing at home - where he’s averaging 14 more DK points and shooting a lot better from the field - but he will also face an Oregon frontcourt that is down two key bench forwards who would otherwise give him a tougher matchup.

Payton Pritchard - Oregon ($8,600)

While Pritchard failed to return DFS value in his last game against Stanford, we can trust him to get back to being one of the best all-around plays tonight in a rivalry matchup vs. Oregon State. Before that sub-par last game, the Ducks’ senior point guard was consistently putting up 35-45 DK points as a high-volume scorer and solid contributor in rebounds, assists and steals. In the previous nine games, he scored at least 19 actual points in every outing as his DK price tag actually raised above 9k at one point. Right now, this is actually a discount on him because of his regular production and DraftKings reacting to one bad game. During Pac-12 games, Prtichard’s 29% usage rate, 30% shots share, 31% assist rate and 40% three-point shooting are all top ten marks in the conference and this high involvement routinely keeps his DFS floor and ceiling high in every game - especially tonight where he’ll be motivated to have a big bounceback game on the road in a hostile environment.

Reggie Perry - Mississippi State ($8,400)

In DFS CBB, it’s hard not to overreact to home/road splits for expensive players because sometimes that’s all the proof we need. When it comes to Reggie Perry at home - he’s miles better than he is on the road and this alone makes him a very good bargain in the high-end at forward tonight. The Mississippi State center is averaging 40.4 DK points at home this season compared to just 29 DK points on the road. That’s a big difference when you have to make the decision to pay more than 8k for a player who has notable splits like those. Plus, Perry is in a favorable matchup facing a Vanderbilt frontcourt that is not a good rebounding unit in SEC play with no one who can match Perry’s size down low. We’ve seen Perry feast in these types of matchups before and this is a spot he should have another big game - especially at home.

VALUE PLAYS

Rob Edwards - Arizona State ($5,300)

As long as Edwards’ salary stays in the mid-to-low 5k range, he’s a solid value because of his production and role right now in Arizona State’s offense. The senior wing scorer is always a threat to get hot from three-point range and he’s in a groove right now - having made at least three deep balls in each of the last five games while shooting 41% (17-for-41) from the perimeter during this span. Over the last five, Edwards is also averaging 25.8 DK points and has seen his price tag rise $1,300 since his hot spurt began. Arizona State plays at the fastest tempo in the Pac-12 (and the 15th-fastest in the country) - and this allows for Edwards to get his fair share of shot attempts despite Remy Martin and Romello White also being very good offensively lately.

Branden Carlson - Utah ($5,100)

As Utah continues to deal with the absence of Both Gach, it’s resulted in Branden Carlson being a lot more valuable in DFS recently. Before his last game, Carlson had put up at least 17 DK points in five straight games with contributions in all stat categories. With Gach out, though, we’ve seen Carlson’s offensive usage and minutes increase and tt all culminated in his slate-breaking performance on Thursday. Against Stanford, the freshman 7-footer played a season-high 35 minutes and finished with a whopping 48 DK points thanks to his double-double and eight blocks. His DK price tag has now unsurprisngly increased by $600 tonight but he’s still a solid value at just above 5k while Gach remains out.

Stone Gettings - Arizona ($4,900)

Gettings has been a very good value for us lately as he’s filled in for the injured Chase Jeter. Although Jeter was available off the bench in Arizona’s last game, he failed to see the court while Gettings got his sixth straight start and played a normal 25 minutes. Considering that the Wildcats have now gone 5-1 since Gettings joined the starting lineup, we probably won’t see him get replaced by Jeter any time soon - even if Jeter is back healthy. And with Gettings still below 5k tonight, he’s a near-lock to save salary. The senior has now put up 38 and 25.5 DK points in back-to-back games while averaging 15.5 points scored, 10 rebounds and one block during this two-game span. He should have an advantage on the boards tonight as UCLA’s Jalen Hill could sit out again with a sprained knee.

Chandler Lawson - Oregon ($4,300)

Although Lawson has started the last four games for Oregon, his DFS value has really slowed down and thus his DK price tag is considerably less than it was just a couple weeks ago. However, the Ducks’ freshman will have to play all the minutes he can handle today with both Francis Okoro and N’Faly Dante out tonight. It will likely be Lawson and Shakur Juiston playing nearly all the minutes at the forward spots tonight - and we’re bound to have a bounceback effort from Lawson. At the end of January, he put up 36 and 21 DK points in back-to-back outings - and this would be a huge value at this price.
