Tonight’s CBB DFS slate should be a fun one! There are a ton of ranked teams in action and some non-conference matchups we don’t get to see too often.

If we fast-forward a few months, tonight’s games present important NCAA tournament resume-builders for teams possibly on the fringe of qualifying in March. Programs like Penn State, Oregon and Providence will all be very motivated to win on the road tonight while others still will want to defend home-court advantage (Northwestern, Marquette and LSU).

Each site has a 7-game slate with six shared matchups on DraftKings and FanDuel. Take note that DK’s contests tip-off at 6:30 pm ET with UC Irvine @ Butler. FanDuel’s unique game is Illinois State @ UCF.

No matter the site you’re playing on, though, there’s top-tier plays and value options all across the board. Let’s get to it!

Games To Target

Furman @ LSU - 8 pm ET (DK & FD) - 149 O/U; LSU -8.5

Buffalo @ Marquette - 8:30 pm ET (DK & FD) - 157 O/U; MARQ -3.5

Oklahoma @ Northwestern - 9 pm ET (DK & FD) - 138.5 O/U; NW -2.0

Guards

Markus Howard - MARQ ($9,500 DK / $8,500 FD) - There are a ton of expensive guards on the slate tonight, but Howard may own the highest floor among them. He hasn’t scored less than 30 fantasy points since mid-November and is taking anywhere from 15-25 shots nightly. That’s crazy volume for any college player - let alone as the best player on a team with the second highest implied point total on the slate (77.8 points).

Ja’vonte Smart - LSU ($6,000 DK / $6,100 FD) - LSU boasts three fantasy-relevant guards and are all in play tonight as members of the slate’s highest projected team total (78 points). Smart is the cheapest of the three, though, because of a dud performance his last game out that saw him post just five fantasy points (two points and three assists). People may be scared off by that wretched state line - but Smart’s previous five games before that stinker is what we want to target. During that stretch, he put up double-digit shots in each and provided a solid 20-30 point fantasy floor. Smart may be more of a tournament play, though, because of his last game.

Rasir Bolton - PSU ($5,900 DK / $6,300 DK) - We wrote up Bolton two days ago and he promptly 4x-ed his price tag thanks to some clutch free throw shooting late. Bolton has been on quite a scoring tear over the last four games - taking double-digit shots from the field, averaging 21 real points per game and returning enough value on his salary. His fantasy points are still a bit dependant on his pure scoring, but if he continues to see 30 minutes - the value remains for cash and tournaments.

Miles Reynolds - OU ($4,800 DK / $6,200 FD) - Reynolds’ price is noticeably more affordable on DK tonight - but he’s been very consistent since playing starter-level minutes for Oklahoma over the past five games. During that stretch, Reynolds is producing 20-25 fantasy points nightly as he’s become a solid complement to Christian James in the Sooners’ backcourt. Lock Reynolds in your cash lineups on DK at least.

Maliek White - PROV ($4,400 DK / $5,300 FD) - White seems to be finally taking advantage of his increased playing time for Providence. Over the last two games, White has put up 30+ fantasy points in each on DK and logged 28 and 33 minutes, respectively. Not only has he been very efficient from the field over the last two outings (65%), but he’s also hitting his three’s more consistently (55%). White presents another solid value play tonight.

Other Notable Guards

Alex Hunter - FUR ($6,800 DK / $7,000 FD)

BJ Taylor - UCF ($6,800 FD Only)

Kira Lewis Jr. - ALA ($6,600 DK / $7,100 FD)

Mark Vital - BU ($6,300 DK / $7,000 FD)

Makai Mason - BU ($5,800 DK / $5,900 FD)

Forwards

Vic Law - NW ($9,100 DK / $8,300 FD) - Law has been a fantasy stud this season as Northwestern’s best all-around player. He’s posted 35+ fantasy points in each of the last three games and in five of the last seven. Law can do almost everything from his forward position - hitting 41% of his 61 3-pointers on the year, averaging two blocks+steals per game and grabbing seven or more boards in four of the last five outings.

Clay Mounce - FUR ($8,000 DK / $7,600 DK) - Mounce has really benefited this season with teams focusing more on Furman’s other forward Matt Rafferty in the paint. Mounce usually sees the second-best defender down low and has the potential to dominate in that matchup. Last game out, he did just that to the tune of 26-10-5 and 58 fantasy points. He may be more a tournament play, but if he’s scoring 35-40 fantasy points at this price - it’s a bargain for your lineups.

Paul White - ORE ($4,700 DK / $5,300 FD) - Oregon forwards Bol Bol and Abu Kigab are out tonight for the second consecutive game (third for Bol), opening up more playing time and usage for White. The senior excelled in the last two games with Bol out, scoring 14 and 13 points and playing a starter’s share of minutes. In those two contests, White posted 20+ fantasy points in both - you can reasonably expect him to 5x his price tag tonight.

Louis King - ORE ($3,800 DK / $4,100 FD) - Like Paul White, King will benefit once again tonight with Bol and Kigab out for the Ducks. Although his floor time has been limited in his four games back from a knee injury, King will certainly see 20+ minutes for a third straight game tonight as one of just a few healthy Oregon forwards. The freshman King made his first career start last game, logged 24 minutes and shot 12 times from the field en route to a 19-point fantasy performance. A duplication of those numbers (or better) should come again tonight - making him a solid value play at this cheap price.

Mike Watkins - PSU ($5,800 DK / $5,600 FD)

Nate Watson - PROV ($5,700 DK / $6,300 FD)

Joey Hauser - MARQ ($5,400 DK / $6,000 FD)
