Carson StrongNEVAF900025.731000022.29
This matchup vs. Air Force isn’t the best, but Strong has 30+ DFS point potential in a pass-heavy Nevada offense. The high passing volume also keeps Strong’s floor fairly safe with close to 50 attempts or more every game. He’s also thrown for three TDs or more in three of the last four games. Strong is good for cash or GPP on this short slate.
Seth HeniganMEMUH820024.36950023.34
Since returning from a hand injury two weeks ago, Henigan has looked like his old self with 26 DK points in both games. He had nearly 400 passing yards in one game and then three TDs in another with Memphis playing in higher-scoring games and Henigan being heavily involved in the offense. This matchup vs. Houston should feature plenty of offense on both sides and Memphis will likely need to throw more to keep up - making Henigan a solid play in all formats.
Aaron AllenLTUSM45005.897005
Allen got the surprise start for Louisiana Tech last week and he put up 23 DK points with 324 passing yards and a 78% completion rate. He also helped the team end a five-game losing streak in the process and it may lead to another start this week in an easy matchup vs. Southern Miss. If we get word Allen is indeed starting again over JD Head and Austin Kendall, he’d be a massive value on DK - though there's some risk he gets pulled.

Also Consider:

Jayden de Laura -- Washington State ($7,300 DK / $9,800 FD)

Clayton Tune -- Houston ($6,900 DK / $10,200 FD)

Haaziq Daniels -- Air Force ($6,400 DK / $6,700 FD)

RUNNING BACKS

Running Backs
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Alton McCaskillUHMEM720019.6950017.34
McCaskill is coming off two monster efforts on the ground with at least 120 rushing yards, multiple TDs and 30+ DK points in back-to-back games. He also saw 20+ carries in both contests while taking on a workhorse role in the Houston backfield. In a highest total of the slate, McCaskill could easily replicate those numbers against a below-average Memphis rush D and he's the top RB cash play.
Brad RobertsAFNEV700018.44920017.25
Volume is king for RBs in DFS and Roberts is definitely getting that in Air Force’s run-heavy offense. He’s riding a healthy amount of weekly touches to some big rushing performances - including 151 yards and two TDs last week and now 20+ DFS points in four of the last six games. Though Nevada’s rush defense is better than most, we’re probably looking at close to 100 yards and a TD or two from Roberts yet again. At least we know the floor of carries and yards will be there.
Marcus Williams Jr.LTUSM650016.31900014.96
The Southern Miss rush defense is one of the worst in the country, allowing 200 yards per game and 5.13 ypc during conference play. Any lead RB going against this defense is worth a look in DFS and it’s Williams Jr’s turn to smash. He’s coming off a big game of 131 yards, four TDs and 40 DK points last week and could be poised for a similar stat line this time around. Though he may go overlooked, Williams is a perfectly fine cash option with some high upside in GPPs.
Toa TauaNEVAF570015760012.87
Though Taua doesn’t offer much upside as a rusher, he makes up for it with his role as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. Nevada’s lead back has at least five catches in three straight games and he’s now put up 10+ DK points in seven straight with enough volume as either a runner or receiver. Though Air Force’s defense presents a tough matchup, Taua could be a solid bargain with how much combined yardage and receptions he’ll have.
Ta'Zhawn HenryUHMEM440011.1365009.88
While McCaskill is the headliner in Houston’s backfield, Henry is still getting double-digit carries weekly and could easily return value in this higher-total matchup. He’s also found the end zone in back-to-back games and is a prime candidate to do so in any given week with how much Houston scores. If you’re fading McCaskill, then Henry is the GPP pivot to look at for cheap exposure to this offense.

Also Consider:

Greg Bell -- San Diego State ($6,100 DK / $8,700 FD)

Max Borghi -- Washington State ($5,200 DK / $7,400 FD)

Deon McIntosh -- Washington State ($4,600 DK / $6,400 FD)

Rodrigues Clark -- Memphis ($4,200 DK / $5,800 FD)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Nathaniel DellUHMEM820020.2850014.95
Though he’s coming off a dud two-catch performance last game, Dell is primed for a bounceback tonight in a high-scoring matchup vs. Memphis. It’s worth noting that the bust last time out came in a blowout win over Temple where Dell or the passing game wasn’t needed as much. That won’t be the case again tonight and Dell could easily return to his 30-40 DFS point upside like he did in the two previous games.
Romeo DoubsNEVAF800022.52950019.27
If you’re playing Carson Strong, you’ll want to pair him with one of the two top Nevada receivers. It’s either Doubs or Cole Turner and the former gets the slight edge with the higher weekly floor. Not only has he caught a TD in five straight games, but Doubs has 36 and 48 DK point performances over the past four games. Even in a low-total game vs. Air Force, he could still have enough reception volume to return value.
Travell HarrisWSUARIZ690017.7870013.9
We haven’t given much love to the Washington State offense yet, but this matchup vs. Arizona is obviously very favorable. The WSU receiving corps is headlined by the duo of Harris and Calvin Jackson Jr., both of which are firmly in play tonight. Harris gets the slight edge as he’s caught a TD in three of the last four games, has six-plus receptions in seven of the last nine and isn’t dealing with an injury like Jackson reportedly is. It’s hard to beat his floor/ceiling combo - but the blowout factor vs. Arizona makes him a bit risky with WSU maybe not throwing as often.
Stanley Berryhill IIIARIZWSU500014.86650010.52
There aren’t many trustworthy options from the Arizona offense, but Berryhill is one of the lone Wildcats we can look at. He actually provides a solid floor as the team’s top offensive weapon - whether it’s his safe reception volume or even some involvement as a ball-carrier. In cash games, he’ll five you 8-15 DFS points on yardage and receptions alone - and if he finds the end zone then it’s just a cherry on top!
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Sean DykesMEMUH440014.08760012.86
Let’s start off by saying Dykes is a much better DK play because of the stark price differential compared to FD. Even still, the Memphis tight end is worth a look in a high-scoring game where Memphis will likely have to throw more than usual to keep pace with Houston. He’s no Calvin Austin, but Dykes has scored in back-to-back games and could easily find the end zone again tonight.
Brandon LewisAFNEV39008.3453007.92
While Air Force usually rolls with a run-heavy offense, the matchup vs. Nevada’s pass defense is actually statistically the best on this slate and it may lead to more pass attempts than normal for the Falcons. When they do go to the air, it’s Lewis who’s regularly on the receiving end. He had a 92-yard TD last week and 106 yards on five grabs the previous game. Plus, he’s getting some work as a ball-carrier to add even more value. For the chance at double-digit DFS points or more, these are some cheap price tags.
Jeremy SingletonUHMEM36008.6257008.31
Though he didn’t record a catch last week, Singleton will surely be much more involved this week in a closer and higher-scoring game. His role in Houston’s receiving corps is amplified even more now following KeSean Carter’s season-ending injury. Singleton is simply too cheap for being Houston’s second-best pass-catcher in a high total game and he could easily return value with double-digit DFS points.

Also Consider:

Calvin Austin III -- Memphis ($7,900 DK / $10,000 FD)

Cole Turner -- Nevada ($7,400 DK / $8,000 FD)

Calvin Jackson Jr. -- Washington State ($6,400 DK / $7,900 FD)

Smoke Harris -- Louisiana Tech ($5,900 DK / $8,400 FD)

Jason Brownlee -- Southern Miss ($5,200 DK / $5,500 FD)

Tre Harris -- Louisiana Tech ($3,500 DK / $7,300 FD)
