J. Gibson - G
John Gibson allowed four goals in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild.
Despite allowing four goals, Gibson put together a very respectable performance against the high-powered Minnesota Wild. He'd probably like to have Kirill Kaprizov's overtime winner back as he gave up a juicy rebound to the sniper but the Ducks have been out of playoff contention for some time so he likely won't lose sleep over it. Gibson owns a 9-19-7 record with a 2.98 goals-against average and .903 save percentage.

K. Kahkonen - G
Kaapo Kahkonen made 22 saves in Friday's 4-3 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks.
Despite his .880 save percentage, Kahkonen handled his crease well as all three of Anaheim's goals were due to poor puck management and defensive zone coverage from his teammates. He managed to make some key saves at various points in the game to keep his team in it and picked up the win thanks to Kirill Kaprizov's game-winning goal. Kahkonen owns a 16-7-0 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.

A. Henrique - F
Adam Henrique scored a goal and notched an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild.
Henrique took advantage of a loose puck off of a brutal turnover by Viktor Rask and tied the game at 2-2 at the 6:40 mark of the second period. After falling behind again in the third period, the 31-year-old set up Derek Grant for another tying-goal that ultimately sent the game to overtime. Henrique finished the game with a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal in 13:30 of ice time. He has 12 goals and nine assists in 45 games.

Kaprizov ripped a shot that was initially saved by John Gibson but picked up his own rebound and potted the game-winning goal just 17 seconds into the extra frame. He also picked up an assist when he set up Viktor Rask to tie the game at 1-1 at the 8:06 mark of the first period. Kaprizov finished the game with a plus-2 rating, three shots on goal and a block in 17:51 of ice time. The 24-year-old rookie has 27 goals and 22 assists in 53 games on the season.

Vitek Vanecek allowed three goals in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Vanecek had a tough outing on Friday after two spirited matchups with the Rangers in the games prior. That does not excuse his poor angle-coverage on Wade Allison's first goal of the game that came from a sharp angle. He also had a rough time right off the jump in his crease that led to Joel Farabee's opening goal. Vanecek owns a 20-10-4 record with a 2.74 goals-against average and .907 save percentage.

B. Elliott - G
Brian Elliott turned aside 28 shots in Friday's 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals.
Elliott picked up his first win in three starts in dominating fashion. The 36-year-old made two back-to-back game-saving stops in the third period when he robbed Conor Sheary on two occasions for the potential game-tying goal. Elliott owns a 14-9-2 record with a 3.10 goals-against average and .888 save percentage.

T. Oshie - F
T.J. Oshie scored a goal in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Oshie redirected Brendan Dillon's point-shot to cut down the Flyers lead to 3-2. Unfortunately for the Capitals, that was as close as they got to tying the game as they were not able to muster up any offense in the final frame and Sean Couturier sealed their fate with an empty-net goal. Other than the goal, it was a pedestrian-like performance from Oshie as he finished the game with a single shot on goal and two hits in 16:05 of ice time. The 34-year-old has 22 goals and 21 assists on the season.

W. Allison - F
Wade Allison scored two goals in Friday's 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals.
Allison picked up a fortunate bounce of the end boards and ripped a shot past Vitek Vanecek to give the Flyers a 2-1 lead at the 4:19 mark of the second period. Just over 10 minutes later, the 23-year-old batted a puck out of the air and into the back of the net to extend the Flyers' lead to 3-1. Allison finished the game with two shots on goal and two blocks in 14:06 of ice time. He has four goals and an assist in 12 games this season.
