Below is a breakdown of Friday’s two-game NHL DFS slate followed by example lineups.

Teams to Target

Welcome Friday, everyone! We have up to two game sevens going on today. Dallas and Colorado get things kicked off at 4 pm EST. Expect this game to be another higher-scoring affair. MacKinnon and Rantanen should be staples in your cash lineup today. If you want to add some cheaper Avs, I would recommend Andre Burakovsky who leads the Avs in scoring over the last week. On defence, Makar is the higher-priced option, but there is also value in Sam Girard, and Ian Cole as well. Joe Pavelski has been rock solid for Dallas in this round and comes at a nice price as well. If you’re looking to stack with Pavelski, I would look to Denis Gurianov who will also come at a reasonable cost and has five points in his last three games. In the late game, I expect we will see some scoring here as well between Vegas and Vancouver. J.T. Miller has been leading the way for the Canucks, with seven points in his last four games. Stacking him with Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes continues to be a solid play. You can also look at Bo Horvat, as a one-off play as well. For Vegas, we should be looking at the top line with William Karlsson, Mark Stone, and Max Pacioretty. Stone has five points in his last four games, and pairing him with Pacioretty is preferred if you can find a way to get them both into your lineup. Shea Theodore on defence has also been productive with four points in the last week.

Value Plays

Joe Pavelski (4,800 DK, 5,300 FD)  - While Pavelski’s point pace as slowed, his shot volume continues to be there. With him also getting time on the top power play for the Stars these are great prices for him.

Denis Gurianov (4,500 DK, 5,400 FD) - Gurianov has five points in his last three games and has really stepped it up in these playoffs for the Stars. Combining him with the previously mentioned Pavelski gives you the start of a nice value stack for the Stars.

Quinn Hughes (4,700-DK, 5,500 FD) - It’s not often that a player has a multi-point game and then sees their value go down, but that is the case with Hughes today, largely due to the volume of other high-scoring defencemen on the slate today.

Goalies

In cash games today, Demko will be tempting. He is coming off a couple of fantastic performances. I don’t foresee another shutout tonight, but I am not against using him. The theme for tonight is really going to be about picking the winners. Khudobin, Hutchinson, and Lehner have all struggled recently, and it is possible that Fleury gets the start tonight with Vegas playing on back to back nights, but if I had to choose one of those three to bounce back it would be Lehner, and if Fleury does get the start I would use him instead.
