Below is a breakdown of Wednesday’s three-game NHL DFS slate followed by example lineups.

Teams to Target

On tonight's small slate of games, I like Washington. They are coming off 6 goals last night, and they get a road-weary Flyers club, who gave up 5 goals last night in a game that went to overtime. If you're looking at the Caps, the top 2 lines are both in play and if you can get Ovechkin and Carlson into your lineups you should. The other team to look at targeting tonight is Toronto. The Leafs are at home in a game that is expected to be over 6.5 goals scored. The Leafs can be tricky because they get a lot of production out of their top two lines, so you will have to pick your poison, but it is worth noting that Hyman in the last week is at the top of the xGA board, so getting him with Matthews or Marner isn't a bad idea.

Value Plays

Sean Couturier- Couturier is priced very well for a player who is on the top line. While the Flyers aren't going to be the favorite tonight, there should still be goals to be had.

Tom Wilson - While Wilson isn't known for his goal-scoring, at his current price it makes him easy to stack with Ovi, in a game that should have lots of goals scored.

Kasperi Kapanen - Kapanen has 5 points in his last 3 games, including 2 multi-point efforts. He is just 3900 on DK and 4500 on FD, so he will help you get some higher-priced players into your lineup.

Goalies

For tonight's games, I like Bishop or Khudobin going against the Kings in cash games. Both goalies are playing well, and Dallas should get the win in the city of Angels tonight. In GPP games, if you want to shoot the moon I would go with Hellebuyuk. The Jets give up lots of shots, so the potential for big points is there. However, the Leafs are among the highest-scoring teams in hockey, so there is some blow-up potential here as well. You can also look to the other side of the rink, to Freddy Anderson. The Leafs win most of the games he starts, but there is just as much the potential for him to blow up just as there is Hellebuyuk.
