Nikola Jokic Headshot

Jokic (ankle) will remain out Tuesday against the Pistons, Gina Mizell of the Denver Post reports.

There was some hope that Jokic would be able to return Tuesday, but he'll ultimately miss his sixth consecutive game as the Nuggets continue their six-game road swing. Denver his 2-3 without Jokic in the lineup, and at this point it's unclear if he'll have a realistic chance to return for Wednesday's matchup with the Celtics in Boston. Following that contest, the Nuggets are off Thursday before playing host to New Orleans on Friday.

Matthias Farley Headshot

Farley had nine total tackles and an interception in Sunday's 13-7 overtime loss at Buffalo.

Farley has been a reliable source of tackles other than an odd game where he recorded no tackles in Week 8. He's since averaged 6.2 tackles per contest in his last five games.
2:07 pm (EST)
John Gibson Headshot

Gibson will defend the cage in Monday's contest with Carolina, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.

Gibson and his perplexing statline -- a very good .920 save percentage versus a not-so-good 2.96 GAA -- will do battle with a Carolina team that sits 23rd in league scoring with 2.71 goals per game Monday. This could be an intriguing matchup, as the Canes lead the league in shots for per game and Anaheim allows the most -- so it's safe to assume that Gibson will see a lot of rubber. In games that Gibson has seen at least 35 shots, the Pennsylvania native has compiled a 5-3-3 record.
2:04 pm (EST)
Barkevious Mingo Headshot

Mingo started at left outside linebacker and had four total tackles in Sunday's 13-7 overtime loss at Buffalo. He also forced and recovered a fumble.

Mingo has been pressed into a starting role with John Simon (neck) on injured reserve. He has just two sacks over the last four seasons, so his fantasy IDP upside may be limited.
2:04 pm (EST)
Margus Hunt Headshot

Hunt had seven total tackles and two tackles for a loss in Sunday's 13-7 overtime loss at Buffalo.

Hunt is getting increased playing time with Henry Anderson (neck) now on injured reserve. He played a season-high 57 snaps Sunday.
2:00 pm (EST)
Chris Martin (R) Headshot

Martin signed a two-year, $4 million contract with the Rangers on Monday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Martin will return to the majors after spending the past two seasons in Japan, where he was able to turn his career around following a pair of disappointing stints with the Rockies and Yankees in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The 31-year-old posted a shiny 1.12 ERA and 91:13 K:BB across 89.1 innings of relief with the Nippon Ham Fighters over the past two years. He'll slot into the Rangers' bullpen, though he may need to prove himself against major-league hitting before earning a higher-leverage role.
2:00 pm (EST)
Chester Rogers Headshot

Rogers had two receptions for six yards on four targets in Sunday's loss at Buffalo.

Rogers played 66 of the offense's 71 snaps as he got the second most playing time among receivers with Donte Moncrief out with an ankle injury. However, the increased playing time didn't get him more receptions amid the blizzard conditions in Buffalo. Rogers could have a more productive day in the passing game next week if Moncrief remains out.
1:56 pm (EST)
Latavius Murray Headshot

Murray said he still deals with general soreness in his surgically repaired ankle, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

This is at least the second time this season that Murray has mentioned the lingering effects of his March ankle surgery. Of course, it was a much bigger concern when he talked about the ankle in early October, at which point he'd taken only 14 carries for 38 yards in four games. He's since emerged as the more reliable half of a split backfield with Jerick McKinnon, averaging 3.9 yards per carry on 15.7 totes per game (60.9 yards) since Dalvin Cook suffered a torn ACL in Week 4. Given that Murray hasn't been listed on the injury report recently, his ankle doesn't seem like a major concern heading into a Week 15 home matchup with an injury-riddled Cincinnati defense. He'll try to bounce back from a nine-carry, 14-yard showing in Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Panthers.
1:56 pm (EST)
Jalen Richard Headshot

Richard failed to earn a single touch in 15 offensive snaps played during Sunday's 26-15 loss to the Chiefs.

Richard logged more snaps than fellow backup running back DeAndre Washington for the first time since Week 9, but such a feat didn't translate to production as the former failed to record neither a rushing attempt nor reception. Richard's lack of involvement in the Raiders' offense doesn't bode well for his Week 15 outlook against the Cowboys, though he figures to continue serving as the team's punt returner.
1:54 pm (EST)
Jack Doyle Headshot

Doyle had two receptions for four yards on three targets, including a three-yard touchdown, in Sunday's loss at Buffalo.

Doyle had a season low in targets, yards and receptions, but it's hard to read too much into his performance given how much the passing game was limited by playing in a heavy blizzard. He should get more action in the passing game next week against Denver.
