Kevin Fiala Headshot

Fiala scored the only goal in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Vegas.

Fiala's tally exactly 8:00 into the final frame accounted for all the scoring in this one. The 2014 first rounder picked a great time to snap an eight-game point drought.

Brad Richardson Headshot

Richardson contributed a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to San Jose.

Richardson's effort earned his team a hard-fought point in the standings, as he helped erase a 2-0 deficit by assisting on Jordan Martinook's tally late in the second period before potting a goal of his own 6:10 into the third. He's lit the lamp twice in the past three games, but the 32-year-old center doesn't possess much fantasy value considering he has just nine points and a minus-17 rating this season, even after finishing at plus-2 in this one.
12:39 am (EST)
Antti Raanta Headshot

Raanta made 20 saves on 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks.

Raanta surrendered the game's first two goals but kept the opposition off the board for the final 44:26 to get to a shootout. Joe Pavelski got one by the Finnish backstop in the skills challenge, and that was all it took to keep Raanta from victory with Aaron Dell denying all three Arizona shooters. Raanta's 2-2-2 record over his past six appearances represents a dramatic improvement from his 4-10-2 start, but he's still a risky fantasy play.

Aaron Dell Headshot

Dell made 30 saves to pull out a 3-2 shootout win Tuesday in Arizona.

Dell's team spent most of the contest hemmed in its own end, but strong play from the backup netminder managed to keep the game deadlocked at 2-2 through overtime. He then sealed the deal by stopping all three Arizona shooters in the skills challenge. Dell continues to outplay starter Martin Jones in both the GAA (2.26 to 2.59) and save percentage (.925 to .913) categories.
12:17 am (EST)
Stefan Noesen Headshot

Noesen recorded an assist, two shots and a plus-2 rating through 10:44 of ice time during Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Noesen was a healthy scratch the previous two games, so marking the scoresheet in his return to the lineup could keep him out of the press box for the immediate future. Still, with just five goals and 13 points through 34 games, Noesen offers limited fantasy value and shouldn't be relied on in most settings.
12:14 am (EST)
Peter Holland Headshot

Holland record an assist through 13:40 of ice time during Tuesday's 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

The 2009 first-round pick collected 13 goals and 20 assists through 36 games in the AHL with Laval and Hartford before being recalled to the Rangers on Monday. Holland is capable of playing bottom-six minutes and chipping in occasional offense at the highest level, but it's unlikely the 27-year-old forward establishes himself as a viable fantasy asset over the coming weeks.

Jerry Hughes Headshot

Hughes finished the season with 28 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble.

Hughes was expected to thrive in new coach Sean McDermott's defense, but even though he was healthy and played a full 16-game slate for the sixth straight season, the big numbers never happened. The four sacks is the lowest he's had in five seasons with the Bills, while the same goes for the tackle total. He's still under contract with the team and didn't seem to end up in McDermott's doghouse at any point, so with the Bills lacking in pass rushers it would seem they'll bring Hughes back and hope he can perform better with a firmer grasp of the defense. Hughes' athleticism isn't the problem -- on the rare big plays he did make he looked as fast and strong as ever.
12:04 am (EST)
Henrik Lundqvist Headshot

Lundqvist stopped 25 of 26 shots during Tuesday's 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

With Tuesday's win, Lundqvist now sports a 20-11-4 record, .924 save percentage and 2.54 GAA for the campaign. Those marks are even more impressive considering he started the year with 2-4-2, .900 and 3.12 marks. The veteran revamped his style to become more aggressive in an effort to combat his slower reaction time, and the new approach is clearly working. With the Rangers allowing the third most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes in the league, it's not an ideal fantasy setup, but Lundqvist's track record and current form trump his surroundings until proven otherwise.

Trevor Daley Headshot

Daley scored 44 seconds into Tuesday's 4-2 home loss to the Stars.

The Red Wings would quickly squander the early lead to sink below .500 on the season. Daley owns a mere seven points through 42 games, even after putting up a marker against his former team Tuesday.
Yesterday 11:57 pm (EST)
Marc-Andre Fleury Headshot

Fleury made 26 saves in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Predators.

Fleury played well and the team in front of him carried the majority of the play with a 43-27 edge in shots, but Juuse Saros stole the show with a shutout to hand Fleury just his third regulation loss in 14 starts. The former Penguins netminder is benefiting from fantastic performances in front of him as usual, and a healthy Fleury remains a near must-start in the fantasy realm.
