Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Headshot

Caldwell-Pope scored 24 points (8-20 FG, 4-14 3PT, 4-4 FT) to go with four rebounds, three assists and three steals across 38 minutes in Tuesday's 113-109 overtime loss to New York.

Despite leading the team with 24 points, Caldwell-Pope's shooting breakdown was less than efficient, especially from beyond the arc. The Los Angeles guard sank four three-pointers on a season-high 14 attempts from three-point land in a losing effort in overtime to New York. Caldwell-Pope is shooting a career-best 36.0 percent on a career-high 6.1 shots per game after his high-volume shooting performance on Tuesday. However, shooting nights like Tuesday's will not go a long way towards sustained success for the guard.

Travis Konecny Headshot

Konecny scored a goal and logged 10:42 of ice time during Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

The tally improves the sophomore to just 10 points -- four goals -- through 30 games this season, which is discouraging production considering Konecny's obvious offensive talent. Unfortunately, he's found himself skating too far down the depth chart too frequently, and it will be difficult for him to show statistical improvement without more minutes in a scoring role. His fantasy value is currently limited to deep keeper/dynasty settings.
10:25 pm (EST)
Brandon Dubinsky Headshot

Dubinsky appeared injured after a fight with Zack Kassian and didn't return to the game, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic Cleveland reports.

Head coach John Tortorella refused to answer questions after his team's 7-2 loss, so we'll have to wait until Wednesday to know the nature and severity of this injury. Dubinsky has three goals and nine assists through 30 games, but he specializes in physicality with 79 hits in that span.
10:24 pm (EST)
Colin Wilson Headshot

Wilson recorded a goal and three shots during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.

Wilson has struggled since arriving from the Nashville Predators during the summer with just three goals and seven points in 21 games. The first-round pick from the 2008 NHL Entry Draft will need to improve his production to have much fantasy value outside of the deepest of leagues.
10:24 pm (EST)
Semyon Varlamov Headshot

Varlamov allowed four goals on 26 shots during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.

Varlamov couldn't carry the day against the team that drafted him and falls to a 9-8-1 record on the season. The 29-year-old Russian relies on starter's volume for his fantasy value and remains a risky play most nights.
10:21 pm (EST)
Anthony Tolliver Headshot

Tolliver suffered a broken nose during Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.

Tolliver reportedly took an elbow to the nose in the first half, limiting him to 14 minutes off the bench. It's unclear if he'll miss any time because of it, though there's a chance he's fitted for a mask in order to play through the ailment. Tentatively consider Tolliver questionable for Thursday's game against the Hawks.
10:20 pm (EST)
Lonzo Ball Headshot

Ball scored 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3PT, 2-3 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block across 40 minutes in Tuesday's 113-109 overtime loss to New York.

Against the Knicks, Ball set aside his offensive struggles and turned in a 17 point performance on Tuesday. Shooting 25.8 percent from three, the rookie guard found his shot after sinking 3-of-6 shots from beyond the arc. Tuesday's solid scoring night aside, Ball has only scored in the double-digits in nine games. As a result, Ball has been way more miss than hit in the scoring department. Consider his 17 points to be a rare bonus in what has been a disappointing season.
10:19 pm (EST)
Kristaps Porzingis Headshot

Porzingis scored 37 points (14-26 FG, 5-8 3PT, 4-5 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and five steals across 40 minutes in Tuesday's 113-109 overtime win against the Lakers.

Since returning from an ankle injury four games ago, Porzingis' offensive output has steadily increased game by game. The New York forward is back to the form that has averaged a career-high 26.0 points this season. Against the Lakers, Porzingis unloaded from three-point land, sinking 5-of-8 three pointers. On Tuesday, he led the team with 26 shots, pushing his career-high average to 20.8 shots per game for the season. As a result, Porzingis is shooting at a career-best 46.4 percent from the floor and a career-high 39.6 percent from beyond the arc. It is evident that Porzingis has taken ownership of the Knicks offense and has elevated his offensive game to new heights.
10:16 pm (EST)
Madison Bowey Headshot

Bowey recorded two assists during Tuesday's 5-2 victory over the Avalanche.

Bowey notched his first points since Nov. 12 to give him seven points in 26 games in his rookie season. The Capitals expect big things from the 22-year-old in the future and his game is certainly developing, but his fantasy value remains confined to deeper leagues and dynasty formats for the time being.
10:15 pm (EST)
Robert Hagg Headshot

Hagg recorded an assist, two shots, five hits and a plus-2 rating during Tuesday's 4-2 win over Toronto.

This was just the fourth assist through 30 games for the rookie defenseman, and Hagg is still chasing his first goal. He's settled into a defense-first role with 58.9 percent of his five-on-five shifts beginning in his own zone and averaging 2:27 of shorthanded ice time per game entering Tuesday's contest. As a result, there aren't many fantasy settings where Hagg is a viable option.
