At least we have one more week to make some sense out of the mess that has become the Atlanta Falcons. With just two teams off this week it is back equivalent to swinging the bat without the doughnut on this week. But this week presents a whole bunch of questions itself. Can the Patriots Offense keep pace with a red hot visiting Saints club? Will Tony Romo continue to tear apart opposing defenses? Do we have to be careful in starting our Broncos players in case of a severe blowout against the Jaguars? All these and more questions are answered in this weeks Fantasy Football Rankings.
As we get ready to preview Week 5 I just want to mention to you guys who ready this every week that I have been using these very rankings to win some nice cash in weekly Fantasy Football. Whether you play at Draft Kings dot com, FanDuel dot com or Draft Street dot com, these rankings can earn you straight cash homey. I am living proof. Anyways, as we march into Week 5 the most noticeable trend is the lack of usable RB’s this week. With Alfred Morris, Adrian Peterson, Le’Veon Bell and Doug Martin being on a bye we are left with vomit inducing players like LaGarrette Blount, Danny Woodhead and Chris Ogbonnaya. In other words, you had better hit on your WR’s & TE’s this week. Here are my Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings.
The Fantasy Football season has changed. As we enter Week 4 we will now have to navigate the rough waters of NFL Bye Weeks for the next 9 weeks. No matter how poor or well your team has done thus far everything can change now. The next 9 weeks will test your teams depth as well as your own ability to manage a roster from week to week. It is imperative that you look at least a week ahead in order to not get caught with your pants down and no available kicker or a starting TE consisting of Mychal Rivera. Always plan your lineups at least a week in advance. With that I give you my Week 4 Rankings:
Week 3 is quite possibly the most important week of the Fantasy Football Season. There is a monumental difference between being 1-2 at the end of this week and 0-3. Furthermore, think about the big emotional difference in being 2-1 as opposed to 1-2? Not to mention that this is the last week until basically the Fantasy Playoffs where each team is playing. The next time this happens is Week 13! So, let’s sit back and take a look at who should be in & out of our lineups this week as told by the Week 3 Rankings:
It’s going to seem egotistical but I really hope that you guys pay close attention to my rankings this week as opposed to some of the others that are out there. It amazes me every damn year how dramatic Fantasy Analysts change their mind on players based on a one week performance. But every year heading into week 2 you will notice rankings in which all of the big performers from week 1 are somehow included. It is called chasing and it literally disgusts me to my very core. As you will see in my Week 2 Rankings I am predicting comeback weeks for players like David Wilson, James Jones and Stevan Ridley while others are hyping up Julius Thomas, Joique Bell and Terrelle Pryor. You will thank me later for keeping my sanity in a world of front runners and chasers I can guarantee you that. Here are the Week 2 Rankings:
For many this is the final week of the fantasy football regular season. If you are reading this you are probably making your last ditch efforts to get into the playoffs and vie for the championship. Therefore, I took extra care this week in making these rankings. Every single ranking is the absolute “next man up” for me at each position as if I were drafting one team for a must win this week. I must stress to all of you though to pay attention to Fantasy Alarm throughout Sunday morning for injury updates and be sure to listen to our show Saturday Night on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. Here are the week 13 rankings:
Bye weeks are finally behind us as we make our final push toward the playoffs. You will notice that players who have routinely shown up on these rankings are suddenly gone. This is because with four extra teams (at least) there are many more choices for your lineup. Remember that the goal is to have your starting QB & TE be in the top 12 (assuming a 12 team league), 2 RB’s in the top 24 and 3 WR in the top 36. If you are in these ranges the chances are that you’ll win your matchup this week. If not, then you have some work to do. Use these rankings as your guide to another victory and an eventual championship. You’re welcome America:
If you’ve managed to stay in contention this far while also hanging onto a good amount of your free agent dollars, than you are in good shape my friends. As you will see in this weeks rankings, there are some names that have surged in value over the past few weeks and whom may be still available on your waiver wire right now. The position of need this week is obviously RB because not only are there few RB’s to trust, four of them (Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson and Ahmad Bradshaw) are off this week. Here are the players that will get you over the hump this last week of bye’s and help you move closer to securing that coveted playoff spot:
There are just two more weeks of bye’s for NFL teams which means that if you have made it this far you jut might be in it for the long haul young man (or women...but probably man). At this point in the season you should be just about done trading and have your every week lineup for the second half of the season settled. Also, if you saved your free agent dollars like a good boy (or girl…but probably boy) than you have been rewarded this week with several real good pickups out on the waiver wire. As you will see in these weekly rankings I am super high on a couple players who are still available in 80% of fantasy leagues right now. Here are my rankings for week 10:
Hopefully you have all survived the Frankenstorm out east and are right now sitting somewhere warm and dry while trying to figure out your fantasy football lineups for this week. If you don’t have any Patriots on your roster then chances are you are in good shape this week. The only other teams off are the 49ers, Rams and Jets whom combined have ½ a useful fantasy player. Here are my official week 9 rankings:
